Melody's POV
I looked directly at Chase with a worried look on my face, slight tears brimming in my eyes, "He would go this far?"
"Melody, I won't let him hurt anyone, especially you. We have a couple of days before this can all be over, I swear." Chase said sincerely placing a hand on his chest to prove his point even further, "But, I need you to be strong for me... can you do that?"
I nodded wiping some years that had fallen, "I can."
"I think Linda should stay with you for tonight, why did he want us to stay away from her?" Chase inquired.
"I have no clue, but I am going to find out." I stated glancing at her from the rear-view mirror.
Chase just started the car and zoomed down the street, within five minutes we were back at my apartment. I made a move to get out but before I could even reach the handle I felt someone grab my upper arm.
"Chase? I need to leave." I said trying to get out of his grip.
He gave me a concerned look and whispered, "I need you to be careful, and it is too risky taking her out now. They think you will take her, I will sneak her in the back within an hour at the most."
"Okay, I trust you. Make sure she is okay." I said with a small smile, pecking his cheek and taking one last stare at Linda to see if there are any injuries, I left the car.
I trust you Chase.

I was eating a meal when I heard a knock on the door and my phone 'ping'. Making a grab for my phone I read the little text that was sent:
I'm here, Linda is fine.-Chase
Being a little bit suspicious I asked him a personal question about his life and he answered it correctly, running to the door I left it ajar as a very exhausted looking Chase carried an awake Linda. She looked like she has been crying.
"What happened?" I said shutting the door behind me.
"She thought I kidnapped her." Was all Chase said before he crashed on the couch as Linda tried to cover her grin with her hand.
Tried.
"I see that grin, you smug little-" Chase growled.
"Well as long as you guys are alright." I interrupted with a smile.
"Oh, I am fine physically, after all she just tried to kill me." Chase said sarcastically.
That sent Linda and I into hysterics, Chase snapped, "How do you find this funny? I could have died!"
"Poor baby." I cooed walking up to him, giving him a hug I said lowly, "But you didn't"
"I'm better now." He said with a twinkle in his eye.
I pushed him off scoffing, I offered them some food Chase declined saying that he already ate and Linda accepted happily. Making her some chicken noodles and giving Chase some water for his thirsty attitude before, I finished what I was previously eating and turned on the TV.
"What do you guys want to watch?" I said flicking through the channels to see if it sparked any interest with either of them.
"Where is Cassie and Alisha?" Chase questioned taking the remote from my grasp and changed it to a channel I went past earlier.
"Alisha is at the gym and Cassie has a meeting with her friends, speaking of which we have a lecture tomorrow." I replied.
"Sounds fair, and how are you getting to your lecture?" Chase protectively said.
"Well, Cassie does have a car." I said in a 'duh' tone.
"Oh.... I wanted to take you." Chase said a matter-of-factly.
"Well, I haven't spent much time with my friends." I countered.
"But-"Chase was about to make an excuse but Linda added "She needs to spend time with her friend Chase."
"Fine," He sighed, "But I am driving you to your little convention."
"Deal. You happy now?" I chuckled.
"Very." He said giving me a pinch on my side which caused me to roll my eyes then shriek landing on Linda's lap as she let out a loud laugh.
"Third-wheeling with you guys is fun." She blurted.
"Yeah, because we are great." Chase proudly said.
"And because you are amazing as well Linda." I glared at Chase.
This man.
"I have to get going anyways, need to sort some stuff out with The Asteroids we have a gig tomorrow night." Chase giddily said.
"Cya, where at?" I yelled as he made his way to the front door.
"You will have to find out." Were his final words before the door was slammed shut indicating he had left.
"He is really kind once he is not a supposed kidnapper." Linda spoke up.
That sentence sent me crying from laughter, "Yeah, he is." I let out in between my laughs.
Linda soon joined, "Anyways... What movie?" She asked getting up to look through my DVD rack.
"I don't know, you can choose." I shrugged off.
I soon travelled into my thoughts when I realised, I forgot to ask Linda about why Trent wants us to stay away from her.
"Hey Linda?" I said innocently.
"Yeah?" She turned her attention from the stand to me.
"Uh.... Why does Trent want us to stay away from you?" I looked up at her to see that she had completely stiffened.
"Look there are a lot of things we do not know about each-other, but I will tell you soon as you will admit secrets as well. But this one time can we just not talk about it?" She begged.
"Of course." I said understanding completely, "What movie?" I said changing the subject immediately.
"I enjoy watching comedies you okay with this one?" She said showing me a DVD which basically had comedy written all over it.
"Why not? Want me to start up some popcorn while you set it up?" I said making a move to go to the kitchen.
"I don't mind, beside I am in need for some popcorn." She giggled.
I brightly smiled and rushed into the kitchen and popped some popcorn in the microwave waiting for it to be ready, my thoughts were directed at-
