Oh Such A Sweet Chase

Melody's POV

I scanned the area to see any differences of the apartment when I saw that everything had changed, the walls were painted a light grey and the ceiling was painted black. The floors were a dark oak timber and the colour scheme has changed entirely.

"We got an interior designer and asked your parents for some money to redo the apartment." Cassie explained with a grin.

I hugged them both tightly and whispered, "Thank you guys so much."

"Don't thank us, thank Chase considering it was his idea," Alisha chuckled.

I looked over at Chase to see his blue eyes directed at me with a proud look on his face, "Why are you proud? Thank you though."

"I am proud because I scored a girl like you." He stated, I heard Cassie and Alisha cooing teasingly but in that moment I felt something burst in my heart and immediately squelch it.

I walked up to him and crashed my lips onto his, he responded straight away with as much passion and heat. We parted ways after Alisha and Cassie started fake gagging.

Classic friend I have.

"What was that for?" He questioned.

"For being the sweetest guy I have ever met." I looked up at him with a smile.

"I am glad you think that." He said clasping his hands around my waist.

"Just date already," Cassie groaned throwing an arm around me

"Not yet, soon." Chase smirked leaning against a wall which held a white table next to him decorated with a dark grey vase with deep red roses inside them.

"What do you mean soon?" I asked raising an eyebrow.

"I may or may not have something planned." He said crossing my arms.

Really?

"And I take it is a surprise?" I felt such a great feeling that I cannot put it into words.

"Yes, now I will leave you girls to take care of Melody and show her around, remember her room goes last." He left and slyly winked at me.

What is in there?

They took me for a tour of the house and each and every room looks flawless, lastly they took me to mine. Cassie opened the door as Alisha put hands over my face to cover my eyes.

"What is it?" I asked holding my hands out to grab anything.

"It's a surprise, okay ready?" She as loosening her grip on my face slightly.

"Ready." I stated.

She uncovered my eyes and the view before me was incredible, firstly one quarter of my room was a massive window with my bed placed on the other side neatly there was a black desk and the colour of the room was aqua with white carpet. The doona was a deep sea blue which had many items on top of it. I walked over to see what they were when I saw a medium sized teddy bear holding chocolates and a rose and on the other side was a box, a note was attached to the box. I picked the note up beaming and read it out loud.

"I chose the colour blue, so it reminds you of me. P.S. it would remind you of me by the eye colour I have, which I know you love." I said smiling with small tears in my eyes.

Never knew he could be so, romantic.

I opened the box to see a CD and a shirt, picking up the shirt I held it up to see what it says. It was dark grey and in light blue writing it says 'The Asteroids', there was also a purple not on the back.

'First every tee for the band, I have worn in, I know you are supportive of the band. I hope you like it.'

I then looked at the CD to see the label and it said 'Never be Alone, Our Dance'. The memory of Chase and I dancing to 'Never be alone' came back and I started to cry happily as Alisha wrapped her arms around my shoulder.

Cassie spoke up saying, "Never knew the bad boy was so, spontaneous and cute."

I laughed and nodded turning around to embrace Alisha properly, "Trent was never like this."

"That is because Trent is a jerk." Alisha giggled hugging me tighter.

I have such great friends that I just want to go back in time and relive this friendship all over again.

"Now let's get our sexy butts out of here and go watch a scary movie." Cassie said joining in our group hug as we all together tried to leave the room still attached.

Didn't work out well.

Al turned up on the floor as she tripped over Cassie's feet and Cassie tumbled down the stairs as I was bent down laughing so hard my stomach hurt.

"And you guys say I am the clumsy one." I said amused at how ironic this situation is.

"That's because you are." They simultaneously said.

I made a 'pfft' sound and skipped down the stairs to help Cassie up as Alisha had already gotten up.

"Get up silly." I said holding my hand out for her to grab, she did and roughly pulled me down.

She looked down and said, "So gullible."

"Oh, whatever." I said getting up and brushing myself down.

"I am making popcorn!" Alisha yelled from the kitchen, "You guys choose the movie."

In the end we both decided on Dead Souls, which for the record I will never ever watch again.

Ever.

I am pretty sure I will have nightmares for the rest of my life.

I quickly texted Chase a 'thank you for the presents and an x after it' and travelled off into the land with no problems and just a perfect world.

Because in reality there is no perfect world, there is just a happy world if you choose to make it one.

The next morning I woke up to two texts from the same person.

'Goodnight adorable one, I knew you would love them x'-Chase

'Morning, get dressed in some jeans and the tee I gave you, I am picking you up in one hour x'-Chase.

That was sent an hour ago.
