Melody's POV
I looked down at my belongings looking to see if I have everything.Shorts. Check.
Shirts. Check.
Swimsuit. Check.
Lady things. Check.
Toiletries. Check.
Chapstick. Check!"Melody! Hurry up!" Chase screamed from outside.
I zipped up my lilac suitcase bounding down the stairs. We are going for two whole days and I think it will be fantastic. Something different for me, then the day after is exams so just enough time to camp. The only downside is I have no clue where we are heading, Chase refuses to tell me.
I walked outside to see Chase leaning on Derricks car with a classic leather jacket and black shorts with a white v-neck. Of course he was supporting vans. He looks extremely gorgeous. Unlike me who was in some denim shorts with a long sleeved shirt tucked into them.
"Why are we taking Derricks car?" I asked walking towards the passenger side.
"Because I can't pack a tent onto a bike, Melody." Chase laughed opening the door for me.
Once he got in in the other side we zoomed off, "Can you tell me where we are going now?"
"Nope." Chase said popping the 'p', "Now get some rest, you look tired pretty."
I blushed when he said pretty but complied leaning my head on the window and drifting into a slow and steady sleep.
****
I felt someone pick me up and my eyes snapped open to see I was in the woods.
"Let go!" I said struggling in the strong grip.
"Melody! We are camping- OW! Stop!" Chase groaned.
"Sorry," I mumbled as I realised what was going on.
"Where are we going?" I questioned.
"To where the tent is seat up, I didn't want to wake you up, you looked to beautiful." Chase said looking down at me, "I set up everything so don't worry."
I was crimson before he ended that sentence, "Thank you."
"Anytime." He replied.
There was a clearing and it showed a big field and a lake on the other side, "You can put me down you know?"
Chase chuckled but set me down, half way through the journey my legs got tired. I saw Chase's back and it looked so inviting so I ran up jumping on his back.
"Thanks for the notice." Chase grunted.
"What am I heavy?" I smirked.
"No." He said sarcastically.
Haha.
"You know I could be insecure about my weight or body." I mumbled.
"Don't be." He stated.
That made me smile, how can a bad boy be so sweet?
*****
We finally made it to the tent and I laid down next to Chase, "Whoo, that was tiring.""You were on my back the entire time and you are complaining?" He looked at me smiling.
"Maybe." I said turning away, "What is for lunch?"
"I have bread and Nutella?" Chase offered.
"Sound yum." I commented.
We ate our sandwiches in silence only glancing at each other and looking down. I walked into the tent and tripped over something.
Ow!
I glanced down to see that it was Chase's suitcase and something was peeking out of it. It looked like a high school senior jumper. It had Wellington written on the back in yellow writing while the rest was green and it had the number twenty six in the middle. I picked it up looking at it just as Chase walked in.
"What are you doing?" He asked quickly.
"U-uh, I-I was just l-looking at this." I stumbled out.
"Okay, you can have it." Chase said taking it from me only to place it over my head.
I furrowed my eyebrows but allowed him to put it on me. It had a faint smell which was exactly his signature smell. Chase stepped back assessing the outfit.
"I like it." He stated hugging me.
"Never knew the bad boy could be soft." I joked.
"Haha." He says giving me a squeeze.
I laughed and tripped over just as Chase let go. Chase's chuckled helping me up mumbling, "Clumsy."
"Shut up." I pushed him a little.
"You know, I am glad you shoved me weeks ago." Chase said grinning.
"Why?" I asked laying down on the mattess.
"Because I would have never met you." He said softly looking up at me.
That point I felt my hear warm and so did my face I walked up to him and stared at him dead in the eyes, "I am glad I stopped you from bullying to."
Chase let out a genuine laugh, "I needed lunch and the money was because I gave him a date and he didn't pay up to me helping him."
"Doesn't mean you scare the life out of him." I glared.
"Eh, I do what I please." He says planting a kiss on my cheek.
"Yeah, macho Chase." I said in a guy voice.
"What was that!" Chase laughed.
"Me trying to be a guy." I smiled and looked down in embarrassment.
"Good try." Chase said hugging me.
"I feel like dancing." I spoke up.
"The let's dance, after," Chase held his finger up, "We go for a swim."
I beamed, "Deal. Let me get changed first."
He nodded and left the tent, I got changed into a black bikini and wrapped a towel around myself. Chase went in after and came out looking like a greek god wearing dark blue board shorts and no shirt.
No shirt.
"Like we you see?" He grinned walking up to me.
I turned around running to the lake yelling, "No!"
I felt Chase's footsteps behind me, "Sure, sure."
I screamed when he wrapped an arms around me jumping in the lake, it was the perfect temperature.
"That is amazing." I said swimming a little back.
"Yeah, just don't drown." He said keeping me still.
"I won't Chase." I said solemnly.
He stiffly nodded, "Good."
We talked about various topics while swimming in the cool water till it was late. I splashed. I began to kick my feet when I accidentally splashed Chase.
He didn't take it as an accident.
"Oh you are so going to get it." He said swimming over to me.
We started a massive splash war when I was so close to Chase our foreheads almost touched.
"No one to stop us now." He whispered.
I furrowed my eyebrows, "What do you mea-"
I was cut off with Chase's lips sealed with mine and here comes the butterflies again.
Chase Wellington, what are you doing to me?
