Melody's Outfit

I walked to my lecture putting Chase's little puzzle. Chase must he delivering drugs to Jedd. I mean there is no other possible excuse.I waltzed into the lecture room with a victorious grin and sat at one of the kitchen tables. Ms Payters walked in clapping her hands.
"Okay everyone! Today we will be making red velvet cupcakes. With a hint of chocolate in the middle. I will hand you the recipes for both the cupcakes and icing. Here is a picture of what it should look like." Ms Payters said assembling the sheets as the picture of a cupcake popped up.
I nodded at Ms Payters in acknowledgement and took the laminated sheet. I skimmed over what to make and got straight to it.

I finished the cupcakes with a massive smile on my face. Ms Payters wandered over to my table picking up one of the four cupcakes I made taking a bite out of it. Once she finished she looked at me with a proud look.
"You did a wonderful job Melpdy, as always."
I smiled like a child on Christmas packing up my cupcakes and left the room. I was making my way out the building when I saw a family leather jacket/hoodie walk out of another building. I furrowed my eyebrows following after him.
"Chase!" I called out.
I saw him turn his head and look at me with wide eyes.
"Hey!" He said astounded.
"Hi." I laughed walking up to me.
"So.. Uh... Has your lecture finished?" He stuttered.
"Yeah. What are you still doing here? I thought you gave the drugs to Jedd and left?" I asked.
I saw something pass across Chase's eyes and his face darkened, "What. I didn't deliver anything to Jedd."
I look at him confused, "Then why are you here?"
"Melody, it is nothing." Chase groaned.
"Well obviously it's something." I stated.
"It nothing Melody!" Chase screamed.
I took a step back when I heard a voice call out, "Chase!". I turned around to see Professor Charts running up to us with a stack of papers in his hands. What is he doing talking to Chase?
Once Prof. Charts reached us he inhaled and exhaled a long breathe, "Chase. Your assignment was amazing! Here is some poetry you forgot to take."
I looked at Chase with raised eyebrows. He takes a Poetry course. Why?
Chase took his heat glare from my face and grinned at the Professor, "Thank you."
Mr. Charts nodded and walked away. I took one glance at Chase and saw him turning around. I grabbed his hoodie part and tugged it back.
"Why do you take poetry?" I questioned him.
"Stop asking questions Melody." Chase spoke in a hushed tone.
"Why! Why can't you tell me?" I yelled.
Why do you care?
To be honest I don't even know myself.
He groaned and put a hand through his hair, "Fine. You want to know? Well follow me."
I nodded and followed behind him until he wrapped his hand around my forearm to tug me in pace with him. We walked silently back to his motorbike. He got on it and looked at me expectantly.
