Melody's POV
I looked at Chase with a look of doubt across my face. How exactly are we going to prank them? I unlocked the door and walked in silently. I saw Chase out of the corner of my eye and walked into the kitchen him following close behind me.
"Thank you for helping me out Melody." Chase exclaimed loudly.
I looked at him alarmed until I saw him pour a black substance on his shirt and then taking it off. I looked at him wide eyed and heard two pairs of footsteps rushing down stairs. Chase quickly grabbed two eggs and hid them behind his back and proceeding to place them behind the bowl of glad wrapped pancake batter. Alisha and Cassie came into the room; their mouths went agape upon seeing a shirtless Chase.
"Hey." He smirked and I gave him a venomous glare.
"Uh... Mel, what is he doing here?" Alisha asked pointing at Chase who is now smiling widely.
"Oh. . . I can answer this one Melody." Chase walked up to Cassie and Alisha slowly.
"To do this." Alisha looked at him with a confused look when Chase cracked an egg on her head, at the same time he did Cassie. He ran over and poured the pancake batter all over them. While I just stood there shocked, I snapped out of my trance when he gave me his phone. I captured a photo and handed it back to Chase grinning.
"We are just going to go now..." Chase said while grabbing my hand and running out of the apartment away from a now enraged Cassie and Alisha.
'I can't believe you did that!" I said that a little surprised.
Chase looked at me with a happy glint in his eye, "Me either. Let's go." I felt his hand upon mine and sparks ignited within me. He looked down taking his hand away blushing bright red. He turned his face and walked towards his bike. He put one leg over it, and gave me a face as if to say 'get on'.
I obliged and got on, not without tripping over the other side of the bike and fell straight down. Chase chuckled and offered me a hand up. I accepted his gesture and hopped back on the bike blushing.

We have been riding on his bike for forty minutes.
"Where are we going?" I called out piece of hair falling into my mouth.
"Just wait five more minutes." He replied with. I rolled my eyes but said no more.
We finally reached the destination which was a Mexican Restaurant. Really? All the way for this one restaurant. I looked at him weirdly but trailed behind him. He was my only way home.
"What do you want?" He asked.
"Can I have a chicken and mayo burrito?" I answered him.
"Of course." He said. He ordered our food and ten minutes later (more like thirty) it was given to us. He walked straight out of the store. Why not eat here? I proceeded to follow him and matched my strides to his. We walked the streets side by side in silence. My eyes saw a public pool and immediately I brightened up.
"Can we go for a swim first?" I said pointing at the pool smiling.
A dark expression came over his face and he tensed, "No."
"Why?" I pressed.
"No, Melody." He spat.
"Fine." I snapped back.
We reached a park bench and he sat down eating his taco while I ate my food. I glared at him whenever we made eye contact.
He sighed angrily, "Just not now Melody." His tone sounded pleading so I nodded.
"Okay. Why did you help me?" I asked.
He chuckled, "It seemed like you needed help getting revenge. Why did they prank you?"
So, I explained everything from the first day Alisha, Cassie, and I met which were, when we were eleven, and all the way till now, at twenty one. I told him about our little prank war and every prank I ever played on the girls. He laughed at every one and told me about the pranks he played on his friends.
**
Since it was getting dark we decided to head back. Once I reached back home, I took the stairs to avoid a very angry Alisha and vengeful Cassie. I walked into my room cautiously when I was knocked to the ground by a screaming Cassie, but she was screaming in an excited tone.
"You have to tell us everything." Alisha said with a grin.
I rolled my eyes, "Nothing happened. He just took me somewhere to eat and we talked about pranks. Something strange happened though."
They looked at me and nodded as if to say 'Go On.' I sat down cross legged and told them how he didn't want to go for a swim.
"Maybe he just didn't want to be somewhere too crowded." Alisha suggested.
"There was no one there." I stated looking at her.
"Oh. . ." She trailed off.
"That is weird. Maybe he just didn't feel like it" Cassie finished for Alisha but decided to change the topic, "We have a lecture tomorrow so wake up early."
"I will. What did I miss out on?" I asked.
"Nothing you haven't got before, nerd." Alisha said nudging me.
"Hey!" Cassie said hitting her arm.
Alisha laughed and said, "Sorry, I forgot you guys are goody goodies."
"We are not." We said in union. She rolled her eyes getting up, "I am going to watch a movie want to join or go to bed early?" She mocked.
We both stood up and ran down the stairs. I ran to the kitchen grabbing mint chocolate ice cream and three spoons while Alisha and Cassie argued on which movie.
"We should watch,'The Conjuring'." Alisha stated.
"No I feel like we need a laugh. What about 'Blended'?" Cassie said with a pointed glare.
"No way! Melody?" Alisha whined.
I smirked and put the ice cream down and picked out 'Two Night Stand', "I feel like a Chic Flick."
"As always." Cassie mumbled under her breathe.
I pushed her as she fell on the floor laughing and I put the movie on. We sat down together eat bug chunks of ice cream. Once we finished the movie, I ran upstairs only to trip over Alisha's feet as she said, "Goodnight, I am so winning this prank war."
"Me too!" Cassie called from her room.
So far it has been-
Cassie and Alisha- 2
Me- 1
Chase and I- 1
But I am not sure there will be any more pranks played by Chase and I. Maybe.
Just Maybe.
