Melody's POVWe were on our way back to the house licking on our ice creams, it was two thirty five am at night and it has been a blast so far. Linda and I were in the back of the car humming along to the song and Cassie and Alisha were fully screaming it.
"I don't think I could ever have this much fun." Linda grinned.
"We do this sometimes, I am glad you could join." I smiled back at her.
She laughed and that is when she accidentally squashed the ice cream against the car door.
"What did you do?" Cassie screeched turning around.
"Cassie! Eyes on the road." Alisha said we were about to smash into a car.
"Sorry, that was close though, if it wasn't for ice cream squasher over here." Cassie tilted her head back in Linda's direction.
I looked at Alisha and burst out laughing, "Ice cream squasher!"
Linda had a little laugh as she was trying to clean the now chocolate ice cream off of the car door.
"Linda, it is okay. I can get it fixed." Cassie said looking back again.
We all screamed at her to turn around, Cassie mumbled, "Sorry, again."
"She always does this." I whispered to Linda.
"I can see that." She giggled back.
We were all finishing our food of happily when the side of our car came in contact with another. It all happened in slow motion, Alisha's eyes widen a fraction and point to the right. Cassie's head turning the wheel just a little too slow and the other vehicle slam straight into our causing to all scream in horror. I was stuck in between two seats as Linda hit her head pretty hard on the other seat.
"Is everyone okay?" Cassie called out.
"I am, Linda you alright." I asked shaking her.
She held her forehead and groaned, "Yeah, I am okay but I saw Alisha hit her head pretty hard. Alisha you alright?"
There was no answer.
Just silence.
"Alisha." I stated shaking her roughly.
"Alisha!" Cassie got out of the car and to the other side helping her out, I saw that the car that crashed into ours was gone.
Who was it?
We dragged Alisha out of the car and laid her down gently, I could hear Cassie hyperventilate beside, I couldn't say anything because I was doing the same with tears in my eyes. I checked to see if her heart was still beating.
I felt a wave of relied wash over me when I could hear a faint thump.
"Linda, did you bring your phone?" I rushed out looking up at her.
"Of course, I am going to call right now." Her fingers were tapping hurriedly on the phone holding it up to her ear.
"Hello?" She squeaked out, she started crying telling the receiver what happened and informed us that an ambulance is on its way.
"She is going to be okay. Right Cassie?" I looked up at her with my eyes glazed over.
"Right Cassie?" I repeated.
"Right." Cassie said firmly walking over to me and gave me a hug.
Linda joined in mumbling, "So much for a fantastic night."
