Melody's POV
It was a moment mixed with passion and lust; I grabbed a hold of his hair as he lifted me up. It felt blissful my stomach was exploding. I pulled away looking deeply in his eyes which held happiness and seem to be darker.
"You are perfect." He said out of breathe.
"And cold, let's get out." I commented, pulling out of our position I made my way out of the lake.
"Fine, but I want to tell you something." Chase said pulling me back.
"Yes?" I asked.
"I want you to be my girlfriend." He mumbled touching his forehead to mine.
"I'd like that to Chase." I smiled up at him.
"But we can't now it would just but you in even more danger." Chase sighed in defeat, "I hate Jedd."
"You and me both, I know. We will wait; we will also get out of this mess." I said sincerely.
"The mess I made."
"It is not your fault, I am famished let's get something to eat." I said trying to lighten up the mood.
Chase took my hint and grinned, "I can make a mean hamburger."
I laughed, "That sounds amazing!"
This is amazing.
*****
We finally got home after what felt like an eternity camping, we pulled up onto the driveway and I was greeted by Cassie wrenching open the door and Alisha hugging the life out of me.
"We missed you so much! Linda came by to keep us company though." Alisha said.
"I can't breathe." Was all I responded with.
Once Alisha let go Cassie latched on, "Oomph."
"Hey! How was it? Did you and Chase do anything?" Cassie wiggled her eyebrows as I chuckled.
"Melody! Get your bag!" He called from the back of the car, where all of the boys were.
"I got it!" Brock yelled holding my lilac suitcase and then he tripped over Derrick.
"I am fine." He winced.
"I will tell you guys later." I chortled making my way to Brock.
"Nice trip?" I joked, picking up my suitcase and helping him up.
"Very funny." Brock said sarcastically, "How was Chase?"
"What do you mean?" I questioned.
"Well, did you guys..." He made a hand gesture which I cringed at.
"No!" I said pushing him lightly, "You are just like Cassie."
"Hey! That isn't a bad thing." Cassie interrupted.
"Sure, sure." I mocked.
Brock laughed and asked if I wanted him to take my suitcase, "Sure thanks."
