- "You want these?" -
2011
"Hey, baby, you wanna go out tonight?" Wade called, sat on the settee, looking over at Alina who was stood in the kitchen.
"Sure, where?" Alina asked, handing him a bottle of beer as she sat beside him, with her own bottle. "Arcade?"
"No, you're just gonna win. Again." Wade sighed dramatically and she smiled. "How about a burger? At that place again?"
"That burger was better than sex." Alina muttered, sipping her beer.
"Better than the sex you've had with other people?" Wade questioned and received a smirk. "You keep offending me. I'm wounded. Like Batman when the Joker's late for their date."
"I don't want someone so offensive paying for my food." Wade gasped, pulling on his coat as Alina did the same with her jacket. "I'll pay for my burger and have a mouth orgasm."
"At least we'll be on the same page." Alina smirked, locking the door behind her as the couple walked out.
"Mouth orgasms? They feel like tiny leprechauns dancing on your mouth and farting rainbows." Wade explained, slipping his pinky into hers and swinging their hands.
"I will never be the same after that sentence." Alina chuckled.
"I'll just dress up as a leprechaun one day and surprise you." Wade smiled. "What d'you think, wig or no wi-"
"Stop talking." Alina stated, suddenly serious as she kept her eyes forward and Wade looked down at her. "How about taking a trip down an alleyway?"
"I mean-" Wade was cut off by Alina yanking him down one and pushing him to a wall, her eyes locked on the exit to the alley. "What the hell is going on?"
"Someone's following us." Alina whispered, waiting for the car that'd been following them to come across the space between buildings. "I don't know who, it could be one of Dreykov's."
"You said he was dead." Wade mumbled, eyebrows furrowed.
"I know. He is, according to my sister. Doesn't mean he doesn't have loyal people." Alina explained shortly, the car stopping between the space, her hand moving to hover over her gun that was hidden in her trousers.
"Like who?" Wade questioned, eyes also locked on the unmoving car. No one had gotten out but no one had spotted them because of how dark the alley was.
"Soldiers. Ex-Widow's. Red Room teachers. There's thousands." Alina informed him, hearing the car door opening. "Behind the bin, Wade."
Following her order, he moved behind the large bin, Alina following but keeping her eyes on the car, also listening in case someone was behind them. The door opened and a large man stepped out, another getting out of the other side.
Someone screamed in the street and Alina then spotted the guns in their hands. Swearing under her breath, she gripped the gun and pulled it from her belt, passing it to Wade, who hadn't bought his out. Tucking it into his pocket, Wade glanced over the top of the bin, trying to tug her away when their mumbled Russian got louder.
"Get out of the alley." Alina instructed.
"You haven't got a gun." Wade stated as if outraged by her order.
"I don't need one." Alina replied. "Go around the street and into their car. Find the information they may have on me while I deal with them."
"Both of them?" He asked, defensive and worried.
"There is two of them, isn't there?" She sassed. "Shoot someone if another appears. Go."
Finally listening to her, Wade slinked off behind the wall and casually went to walk around the street which would talk all of 2 minutes. Alina dipped behind the bin fully when they started down the alley.
When they came down the alley, she pushed herself on top of the bin, jumping and locking her calves around one's neck, her arms going around the others neck. She gripped the one with her arms around's hair and slammed his face into the bin, his gun falling from his grasp with her hit.
He fell over and Alina was thrown from the other man's shoulders, rolling back up to her feet. He started to shoot at her and she spied some bricks sticking out of the wall and jumped, pulling herself up on then. She flung herself, landing behind the man.
Slipping the gun that was dropped into her hand, Alina lifted it and went to shoot the man but he dodged the bullet, spinning to take a shot at her but nothing came out. A clicking sound occurred and Alina smirked.
"You want these?" She questioned, holding u the ammo she had sneakily slipped from his gun. "Fuck you."
Simply, she shot him in the head, groaning in pain when the man on the floor stabbed her in the thigh with a knife, pulling it from her leg sideways, effectively cutting open her leg. His hand gripped her wrist when she was momentarily distracted and pried the gun from her, throwing it away.
Grabbing the knife in her boot, Alina quickly stabbed it into his shoulder multiple times so he was weakened. When she was sure he wouldn't get back up, she grabbed his hair, pulling it back and slashing his throat, his body falling limp to the floor in a puddle of his and his partner's blood.
"I got it!" Wade called, running into the alleyway, gun out and ready to shoot, tucking what looked like a file into his jacket. "Jesus. It looks like The Shining."
"Done." Alina muttered, holding a hand to her wound with a pained face. "The burgers should be put on hold."
"Fucking-balls." Wade mumbled, eyes widening at her large gash, speeding over to her, pulling off his belt to wrap around her thigh, tying to stop the blood. "C'mon, we gotta get you home."
"They're gonna be there." Alina denied as Wade picked her up to save her the walk. "Maybe. I'm not sure."
"Mine then." Wade stated, carrying her down the street. "Don't fall asleep."
