- "Then what?" -
After Wade and Alina had come to an agreement of neither of them killing one another, the Widow had gone back to the Red Room, Wade to Sister Margret's to get pissed out of his mind.
Alina stood in the training room, gun held up to the target as she took repetitive shots at the target, her bullets reaching all the correct places in them. Younger less experienced Widow's watched, learning from her movements, the poor children helpless in their new 'home'.
A woman stormed into the room and Alina stopped her movements, turning to her. A letter was handed to her and she read the front of it: Моя дочь - My Daughter. Simply, Alina ripped the letter in half and placed it on the table, picking her gun back up.
The woman walked out of the room, glaring at the girls that flinched. Alina continued to shoot at the target, forgetting the letter from Alexei, who she had not spoken to since 1995. She presumed he wanted something otherwise he would never send her a letter. Ever.
Most of the time it was a letter to send him chocolate bars or sweets as if she could have such luxuries.
Once she'd finished teaching the girls how to shoot and load a gun, she was ordered to make her way towards Dreykov's office. Alina walked into his office and was greeted by his usually sickening smirk as he gestured for her to take a seat in the chair across from his desk, so she did.
"You have a mission, Alina." Dreykov stated and she nodded. "Wade Wilson."
"Okay." She shrugged, vaguely remembering him from a few missions ago. "Where do I kill him?"
"You're not killing him. Not for some time." Dreykov responded and her eyebrows furrowed.
"Then what?" Alina pushed.
"Make him trust you. We have suspicions that he knows information about the Red Room. He is also a mercenary and has dealt with people like you before. Make sure you don't slip up. You have information pack in your dorm about him. Read it and use that to gain trust. When we have all information we need, you kill him and come back to your home." Dreykov explained and she nodded stiffly.
"Where do I go and when do I leave?" Alina questioned.
"You will go to New York. There's an apartment waiting for you. And you will usually find him in a bar called Sister Margret's." Dreykov finished. "You will be leaving tomorrow morning at 5am. Pack now."
Wordlessly, Alina got up and moved back through the Red Room and towards her dorm. Once she was in there, she started to pack her bag, taking off her suit to put it inside as well as many changes of clothes that were all the same really. Hopefully, she would be allowed money to buy better ones and blend in.
