I smiled as I laid my phone back on the bed after I finished drying my hair. Good thing, Jia doesn't have class today so I took a day off. She's busy singing in the karaoke I bought for her downstairs. Mother Amelia and Lilith are watching her. This is her second round of "Lush Life" by Zara Larsson. Does she have a crush?
Author's POV
Carlos arrived at Y/n's apartment and Mother Amelia opened the door for him.
"Now I found another crush, lush life given me a rush, had one chance to make me blush. Second time is one too late!" Jia sang while snapping her fingers to the beat in front of the TV.
Carlos sat on a chair in the kitchen and watched her.
" Wooooo!!!!" Mother Amelia cheered.
"Hi uncle Carlos!!!" Jia shouted through the mic, making everyone laugh.
"Where are you going?"Mother Amelia asked.
"Festival." He answered.
Mother Amelia pointed at the second floor. Carlos nodded. "Ooohh, a date." She teased.
The music stopped and Jia punched some numbers onto the console again and a new song popped up.
"That's Korean, right?" Lilith peeked from her phone. Her legs occupying half of the sofa.

The three dropped their jaws.
Mother Amelia laughed.
" Did she know how to speak Korean back at the Orphanage?" Lilith asked. Mother Amelia shook her head.
" No but I heard from Y/n, there's a Korean Teacher in the elementary department."
Lilith and Carlos mouthed an oh.
" It's catchy." The redhead commented.

Carlos facepalmed himself. " Unbelievable." Jia turned around and swayed her hips wile her eyes were glued on the screen for the lyrics. "Aunt Lilith!!!!"
"What?!"
"Make some cupcakes!" Jia yelled through the mic.
" Ok ok!" Lilith stood up and went to the kitchen.
Carlos was about to go upstairs when a piece of weave made its way down, almost hitting him, and to the Karaoke console and tuned the volume down and then went back up.
"What the- Y/n!!!" Jia complained.
"Ready to go?" Y/n closed her bedroom door and saw Carlos at the end of the stairs.
