Y/N:
Lil, I thought you were going to send the clothes?
Y/n:
Hello?
Y/n:
I'm gonna call you, okay?

Timothee's Mansion
February 02, 2021
0700Lilith woke up to the sound of her ringtone blaring on her nightstand. She shuffled under the sheets and grabbed her phone. Her eyes widened as she caught a glimpse of the caller's ID.
Y/N
"Shit! Shit! Shit!" Lilith tried to sit up but Timothee's arm around her waist just made things more complicated.
She answered the phone right away and was greeted by Y/n shouting at her nonstop. Lilith buried her phone underneath her pillow as if that would lessen the audio of the call.
"PARKER! I KNOW YOU'RE IN THERE!" Y/n said. Her voice muffled.
Lilith brought out her phone again and sighed.
"Girl, you're being too loud. It's seven am in the morning! What're you doing up so early?" Lilith asked.
Y/n scoffed. "Excuse me? I usually wake up this early. Now, about the clothes. What do they look like? Because right now, as we speak, it seems like you have no plans of sending it to me."
Lilith looked down and saw her boyfriend's leg entangling with hers. The air conditioner was getting in too much between their naked bodies and the blanket above them. Sending shivers down her spine.
" Well, they're all black and leather-ish. Absolutely your style." Lilith answered. " Oh! Plus there's a couple of shoes too."
" I see. When are you visiting again anyway? Maybe you can bring them here. Borrow Timothee's car or something." Y/n suggested.
" Well, I still–"
Lilith was cut off when she felt Timothee's hand climb up to her neck and pressed on her jaw. His fingers locking against her skin. Suddenly, their positions were switched, making her drop her phone on the floor and abruptly ending the call. On its own.
" Eh? Hello?" Y/n frowned." Lilith? Oh goddammit."
Y/N
I lied down on the couch and pressed on Anna's contact. Her last message was last night when I got home from a mission. She's been pretty busy lately. Something about The Connections is what she's currently investigating. Her and her team.
Anna:
Congrats! $20,000 has been transferred to your bank account. I'll update you for another mission soon. Thanks.
"Ada's nowhere to be found too." I muttered. Closing my phone in defeat.
Mother Amelia and Jia are upstairs studying and writing with the help of some old textbooks provided by Blue Umbrella. It's funny how that company is always prepared for anything. I'm starting feel like they already saw this coming.
"Something on your mind?"
I spaced out too much I didn't realize Carlos was already standing near the sofa. I turned my phone off and stared at him. It's good seeing him in normal clothes instead of his uniform where I couldn't even see a hint of his humanity.
"Nothing much. It's good to have you back." I said. Completely out of it.
Carlos pursed his lips and went for the kitchen. He turned his back towards me and began to wash the dishes. No words whatsoever.
I sighed. "Are you still mad at me?"
I can't totally blame him if he is. Maybe he's still pissed off at Wicked. He's in a tantrum when he's like this. I slowly got up the couch and tip-toed to him. I sneaked up behind him and slithered my arms through his to wrap around his chest. I felt him relax into me but I could also feel him hesitating.
I scoffed. "Damn, chill out Oliveira, I'm just trying to hug you. You know I missed you right?"
He didn't respond. I tried to look up to see his face but his hair is on the way. That damn mop hair.
" Look, if you're going to be sulking all day–"
" Can I have a minute alone? Y/n?" He cuts me off.
I immediately broke the hug and stared at the back of his head in disbelief. Did I hear that right?
I groaned. " What is wrong with you?"
Then I stormed out of the building.

Carlos finished up his duties around the kitchen and leaned against the counter. He crossed his arms as he watched Y/n sat on the makeshift swing with a cigarette between her lips. Her left leg propped up and her free elbow on top of her knee. She looked badass and carefree.
"What a strange woman." Carlos said. Laughing to himself.
Suddenly, Y/n started to swat the air as if she's preventing something from touching her face. Her expression says it all. She was also pissed. Carlos shook his head as strings of weave came out of her back and did all the dirty job for her: including catching the flies and toasting them afterwards.
"Poor thing." Carlos whispered.
"I heard that." Y/n's voice rang in his ear.
Carlos rolled his eyes and saw her staring right through his soul from the outside.

Timothee shifted under the blankets when his phone won't stop blaring. He removed his arm around Lilith and picked up the call.
"Timothee, let's meet up at the base. It's urgent."
