"You didn't know you're on YouTube?"

"This is a fucking joke, right? You better be kidding," Cecilia growled out through the phone as she sat at her desk, her dark eyes narrowed as she listened to the man on the other end of the phone informing her that he was indeed not kidding. "So which one of you was it huh-" Instead of a response, she was met by the sound of a dial tone telling her they had hung up.
"Dad!" Cecilia yelled racing from her desk into his office. "Alexander Harris killed himself last night," She sighed as the man paused before also letting out a sigh. They both knew that the chances of it actually being a suicide were slim, they were on the right track with Dr. Connors. The wrong person must have found out.
"This is—and his wife can't sue the state or have it investigated because she's dead," Matt said as he leaned against his desk, crossing his arms and ankles while his daughter did the same again the doorframe.
"We had to have been right, about something. I'm going to keep looking into it, maybe talk to Aunt Karen," Cecilia stated with a slight nod as she thought about her Aunt's newspaper office that was right across the hall. They did mostly investigative and political reporting, and often times Karen was the person who told her about possible threats to their area.
"If this gets bigger than Dr. Connors...I want to know," He said in a firm tone making his daughter fight back the urge to argue that she wanted him done and out of it.
"Okay. Look, I gotta get to class. Is there any next of kin that we could send flowers to?" Cecilia questioned turning through the doorway while still looking at her father.
"His mother, I think. I'll send em, you get to school kid." Cecilia nodded even though he couldn't see it and gathered her things bidding both of the men a farewell before heading to class, her mind filled with thoughts of the news she had just heard.

"Okay, so I know you said you don't want to talk about it...but what if you teamed up with Spider-Man? Cool crime fighters!" Kate said as she fell onto the couch next to Cecilia while she did her homework, large old books everywhere.
"Ugh, I do not need a sidekick," Cecilia scoffed scrunching her face in disgust.
"Well, I think you'd be his sidekick cause he was an Avenger after all," Kate said as she picked up one of her friends books and looked at it. "What's a penal code? ha ha penal."
