"If I ask if you're okay are you going to punch me?"

November 2024

"I will flick you in your blind face if you say something disrespectful like that again!" Cecilia gasped pointing at her father who was standing by her and Kate's large bare Christmas tree while the two girls stood in the kitchen making mixed drinks.

"Weren't you like 12 a year ago?" Matt joked tilting his head slightly before opening one of the boxes Karen had sent with him. Kate smiled at the pair, her relationship with her mother was strained and her father had died many years ago, but Cecilia and Matt made her feel like she had a family.

"And you were dead so..." Kate added with a smirk making Cecilia cackle and Matt shook his head letting out a laugh of his own.

"So it's okay to make jokes about it now? I wasn't sure." The three continued to talk while they decorated the tree, well Matt decorated the tree Kate and Cecilia got distracted far too easily to help for more than one or two ornaments at a time.

After a rather long and cold night which included almost getting attacked by a pack of aggressive Pomeranians in someone's backyard, Spider-Man found himself downtown, a very familiar area really. His eyes widened with glee when he saw the pizza place and quickly entered ignoring the stares he was getting.

"Can I get a few slices of pepperoni?" Peter asked pointing at the spinner making the teen awkwardly hand over the pizza, his eyes wide in awe and fascination at the fact Spider-Man just walked into his job.

After grabbing the pizza and paying for it the teen made his way out of the shop and pulled himself onto the roof of the building across the street, his eyes widening when he realized why this area was so familiar. Right in front of him through the large glass windows was Cecilia Murdock as well as his old attorney and the girl's roommate.

Peter felt his heart ache as he watched Kate and Cecilia jump around their couch singing into hairbrushes dramatically while they left the blind man to decorate their Christmas tree, the man had his back to Peter but he could see that his hands were on his hips at their antics.

The scene was a wonderful one and it made Peter miss his friends, his family. It made him miss Aunt May, this would be the first Christmas Peter Parker would be spending completely alone.

"You've got to be kidding me! Are you following me!" Cecilia exclaimed as she watched Spider-Man swing down from above her and take out one of the men she was fighting with. Ever since everyone came back, petty crimes had increased.
