"okay my little ladies, what are we thinking?", I held up two different coloured socks to the girls "no opinion?", I laughed at their silence "I guess I'm picking then.... I know that you don't like your little socks darling but it's going to be cold out there", I kissed Loreleis' forehead as she whined
"darling?", holland called out, walking through the door
"shit", I muttered to myself "I'm in the girls room", I called back
"would you like to explain the suitcases in the hall?", holland rose her brows suspiciously
"we're going on a trip", I spoke simply, keeping my back turned to her "do you like their outfits?", I avoided
"oh we are, are we? and when did you make this decision? because you sure as hell didn't inform me.. did you princess?", she came up, wrapping her arms around kissing my neck softly
"I just thought that it would be fun.... we don't have to go", I whispered
"don't get shy on me now darling"
"we just really haven't left this apartment for two months, so I thought that we could go down to the lake house, just for a couple of days?", I turned in her embrace
"that sounds lovely", she kissed my forehead "it's a long drive though darling"
"that's why we have to leave", I wriggled out of her arms
"did your mommy just leave you on the change table all alone?", holland giggled as I left
"Holland come and get changed"
"Darling?", holland smiled softly, coming in with the twins
"yeah?", I looked to her
"are you feeling okay sweetheart?"
"yeah, why wouldn't I be?", I questioned changing my pants
"because this was all very impromptu"
"I just want to get out of this apartment for a little while, and the lake house.... it's special", I walked closer
"I know it is.. I'm sorry", she kissed me dearly
I went over a few details with holland while I took off my shirt. The minute that my shirt was off, my bare chest on display, the girls reached out their hands a little to my breasts
"no I just fed you", I removed Loreleis' little hand from my nipple, quickly pulling on a clean sweater, making them both fuss at my action
"I know how you feel", holland whispered down to them

"I know my sweet girls", I was turned around, trying to comfort them as they cried "honey let's just pull over for a little bit, I think they're hungry"
holland and I had been in the car for three hours, and we still had two to go. The girls had been asleep for most of it, but now they were screaming bloody murder
"it's okay, I've got you", I got Lorelei, while holland took Alice. I sat back down in the front, pulling up my sweater, moving Lorelei so she could feed before holland placed Alice in my other arm "what time is it?"
"almost five"
"okay they'll pass out after this", I sighed, relaxing back
"do you remember the first time we went to the lake house?", holland reminisced
"how could I forget?", I turned to her brightly "we had only been together for a month or so-"
