55. Holidays With Families

Ben and I have been shopping the whole day yesterday. We were watching for last decorations for our tree and presents for families and each other. Even we won't spend Christmas in London, we wanted to decorate our own tree anyway.

"The star Els" Ben said pointing to star and I took it from box

"here" I said giving it to him, but he shook his head

"I will lift you up on my shoulders" he said, and I shook my on his crazy idea

"Not a chance Ben" I said

"Come on, I won't let you fall" he said smiling at me

"no" I complained

"it's two days until Christmas and you're complaining to me" he raised his eyebrow

"But if I fall you will leave without a single hair gel" I said and he just smiled, but I knew it wasn't funny for him because I know how much he cares about his hair and he always look to have a few bottles of hair gel with him wherever he goes

"Okay we have deal" he said, and I stood on couch as he crouched in front of me so I could sit on his shoulders

As he stood back up, I felt like I am spinning around so I grabbed onto his hair hardly on what he groaned.

"Ouch, nicely Ela" he groaned

"I'm sorry" I said and carefully kissed the top of his head

"Okay, here" he said carefully holding me with one arm and handing me star, so I put it on the top of tree "Have you?" he asked, and I looked down at him smiling at him

"yes" I said, and he walked back to couch

When I thought he would crouch back so he can put me down he just throws us both on couch as he was laughing as I almost dead of fear.

"Why you did that?" I asked catching my breath

"You have to admit it was funny" he said laying on the top of me

"You scared me" I said

"Oh, come on Els, I just threw us on the couch" he said laughing

"But I was on your shoulders, and you could pre see couch and I could be left on the floor" I said, and he just kissed my cheek

"Never babe" he said, "that won't happen" he added "Come on, let's get ready for weekend in Bedfordshire" he said standing up and giving me hand

First, we went to our room and pack some stuffs that we will need for weekend and then we packed presents that we bought. Since they are presents Ben and I went to buy each other presents alone so we don't know what it is.

Christmas eve

We came to Bedfordshire, and we are having dinner with Ben's family now. Yes, I am nervous, but I am trying to relax and not to show my nervousness even if Ben clearly sees it since, here and there, he rubs my thigh or hand under the table. The evening we spent talking and, honestly, having fun evening and I more than enjoyed it.

All the nervousness I felt when we came here now went away and I was really relaxed. Probably it was Ben's effect on me too since the whole evening he was beside me holding my hand or having his hand on my thigh and it really helped me to relax.

"Have you already put my present under the tree?" Ben asked smiling at me as we left alone in living room

"Who said I bought you something?" I asked raising my eyebrow but soon enough I burst into laughter "I did" I laughed, and he kissed my cheek "and you?" I asked

"it's already there" he said pointing to tree

"I actually hate this" I said

"What?" he asked

"Buying presents to each other" I said

"Why?" he asked

"Because I never have good enough idea and you always spend a lot of your money on me" I said, and he just rolled his eyes

"We talked about that Ela, and I don't want to talk about it anymore" he said "I spend my money on you because I want that and because I love to buy you presents" he said

"let's take a rest" he said and took me by hand to his bedroom

Christmas morning

I woke up with the feeling of someone touching my face and hair. I opened my eyes and faced Ben with a smile on his face.

"Good morning love" he said and kissed me softly "Merry Christmas" he said

"Merry Christmas" I smiled at him

"Are we going on breakfast?" he asked putting the lock of my hair behind my ear

"yes" I said and after we made our morning hygiene routine we went downstairs to kitchen where Ben already were

"Good morning" Sally said

"Good morning" I said lightly smiling

"Morning mum" Ben said kissing her on the cheek as he sat down pulling me with him, so I sat beside him "Morning dad" Ben said

"Morning lovebirds" Wayne said as I just shyly smiled looking down

"Alex is still asleep?" Ben asked holding my hand under the table

"I think she woke up and that she is about to come down" Sally said and Ben just nodded

"We will wait for her" he told me, and I knew he thought about presents
