6. Best Friends

It past the whole day, it's 8pm and Sophia came out of her room only to eat twice and that were the only times I saw her after our quarrel this morning. I didn't know what to do to apologise so I went out to the shop.

I bought her, her favourite food and sweets, candle which says I hope this candle smells better than shit I put you through and sad teddy bear with shirt which says sorry I am dumbass please forgive me. When I came home, I put that all in one bag spraying my perfume all over it. I walked over her bedroom doors and left bag on the floor.

To: Soph
Can you please open the doors and take what is in front of them?

I sent her message sitting on the couch and waiting for her to open the doors. She opened the doors and took a bag just a second after I sent her a message. I smiled knowing she took it, but I was still scared that she won't forgive me. I really don't want to lose her because of this situation.

Few minutes later I heard door opening and I thought all the things are going to fly out of room, but it didn't happen. I saw her looking at floor and walking towards me hugging a teddy bear.

"Soph I-" I wanted to say that I am sorry, but she just jumps on me hugging me, I thought she would crash me how hard she squeezed me

"you're the best person ever, how can I not forgive you?" she asked cupping my face

"I love you" I said, and she just hugged me once again

"I love you too Els" she mumbled after few moments of us just lying on the couch hugging

Two weeks later

To say, no, I wasn't out with Mason and Sophia the other day and I know Mason was joking, so I don't worry about what he said anymore.

"Match starts for half an hour, are we watching it?" she asked looking at me

"What do you think?" I asked looking at her

"of course" she said and smiled turning TV on

"Have I told you what Mason gave me the other day?" she asked, and I got confused

"No, what?" I asked

"Wait here" she said and ran to her room that she will a minute later come dressed in his jersey

"Ta-da" she said turning around so I could see number 19 and Mount on her back

"Seriously?" I asked

"seriously" she said smiling like a little kid who just got chocolate

"that's nice" I said thinking that I am wearing Chelsea clothes every day when I am on practice

"that's sooooo nice" she said sitting next to me

"yeah" I mumbled and took my phone to scroll down Instagram looking at new posts until the start of the match

I couldn't help but lightly smile even I felt a bit scared. What does we have to talk about?

"Here they are" Sophia cheered as boys came on the warm-up before the match

"Mason and Ben both starts if you didn't see" she informed me, and I put my phone down on my lap as I was sitting in Turkish seat

"Good for them" I said, and she looked at me smirking

"What?" I asked trying not to laugh

"don't act because I already felt chemistry between you two" she said raising her eyebrow

"Are you.... dumb? What chemistry you're talking about?" I asked laughing, she is so stupid sometimes

"Chemistry, you know when two people are attracted to each other" she explained, and I just rolled my eyes

"I know what you wanted to say but that is not happening between him and me" I said

"m-hm, if you say so" she mumbled and turned back to TV screen

"Sophia I'm serious, nothing like that is happening between us" I said

"You will tell me if something goes on?" she asked looking back at me

"You know I will tell you, but nothing will happen" I said, and the match just started so we focused on it

"YESSS" we shouted smiling as Ziyech scored a goal in 55th minute

"let's go blues" Sophia shouted and we sat back on the couch

"no" Sophia mumbled frowning as Mason went out in 70th minute

"it's okay, he's going to be okay" I said trying not to burst into laughter on her reaction

Since she met him, she's always sad and kind of mad when he goes out but then on the other hand, she's always crazy of happiness when he doesn't play from the start and then he comes in.

At the end Chelsea won 1:0 against Manchester City in semi-final of FA Cup.

"So, you're leaving me on Monday again" she said looking at me sadly as we turned TV off

"Soph-" I wanted to say something, but she interrupted me

"Just tomorrow and then I am alone again for the next two weeks" she frowned

"that's only two weeks" I said

"For the next two months" she said

"Yes, but that will pass by really quickly and not that we are actually an hour away from each other and you can come and stay with me in my apartment for the weekend whenever you want to" I said

"What would you do with it when you finish your practice?" she asked

"Rent it probably" I said shrugging

"Good idea" she said

"So would you come for a weekend?" I asked

"If we will hang out with Mason" she said smiling

"We can discuss about that" I said

"Then I can think about coming" she said smiling
