66. Played for you

"come" I said pulling Sophia by hand with me to the changing room where boys were about to get on the pitch for the pre-match warming up

"Hey Blues" I shouted as I entered changing room pulling Sophia behind me

"Hey birthday girl" Kai said walking towards me

"Hey Kai" I smiled at him

"Happy birthday" he said hugging me

"Sophia, hey, haven't seen you in a while" Kai said hugging Sophia on a second

"Oh Mase, you're so dead now" I heard Callum saying and I saw him tapping Mason's shoulder as he was looking at, probably, Sophia behind me

"let's go boys" Jorginho said, and everyone started leaving changing room

"I'll be on the pitch" Ben whispered to me kissing me on cheek

"I want you to talk and sort things out on whatever way" I said as Mason, Sophia and I left in changing room

"I'm in first eleven, I need to warm up" Mason told me and I shook my head

"I don't care Mason, I want you to sort things out, as soon as you do it you will be on the pitch" I said and pushed Sophia closer to him as I left the changing room

I took a deep breath and walked to the pitch.

"Do you think it will work?" Ben said as I sat on the bench, and he jogged towards me

"I'm not sure" I said

"Go and warm up so you can beat the whole team" I said smiling at him

"I'm going to try and score for you" he said cupping my face

"I don't want us to break up, never ever" he said hugging me

"Why are you saying this?" I asked confused

"Seeing Mason how he was past few weeks made me think how I will feel if you ever break up with me" he said

"I would never break up with you" I said

"BEN" Reece shouted from the pitch

"Go, I'll right here" I smiled at him kissing the corner of his lips

He kissed my forehead and ran towards Reece and other boys while I was sitting on the bench looking at them. Few minutes later I saw Mason running on the pitch getting warm up with the rest of the boys and soon enough Sophia sat beside me.

"And?" I asked seeing she won't say anything if I don't ask

"He said he can't think about relationship and feelings now, that he needs to concentrate on the match and on the finals that they have for three days" she said as I looked at her, she was looking at boys on the pitch

"What did you tell him?" I asked

"That I can't have such a toxic friendship nor relationship" she said, and I looked at him confused

"that's not toxic Soph" I said

"I'm kidding" she said rolling her eyes

"I told him how I was feeling past few weeks and he said that he feels me but that we will have more serious conversation today after match or after finals because he can't lose concentration" she said

"So, you're like good again?" I asked

"Just good, we need to talk, I didn't want to take his time now" she said, and Mason was just looking at us at the moment as they were stretching

"You have his shirt?" I asked

"no" she said, and I pulled her by hand taking her to changing room

I went to the locker were each of boys have few extra shirts and I took one Mason's and one Ben's.

"I'll put it in empty locker, and we will get here after boys leave" I said and put shirts in locker

"What you've done" I said laughing as I was hugging Ben while we were walking to the changing rooms

"I played for you and Mason played for Sophia" he said, and I raised my eyebrow

"What?" he asked smiling at me

"Mason played for Sophia?" I asked

"Come on, everyone knows he is crazy for her, they have broken up, but he still loves her, he said that he can't wait to talk with her and to sort everything out, I've seen him those past few weeks, he was not good how he tried to act, but now he is different, he is getting back to that Mason I actually know" he said

"Can I ask you, how you always make an essay of the answer that can be just a few words?" I asked and we both laughed, he pulls me closer to him

"My left back, finally" Reece shouted as Ben entered changing room and I just smiled and went to pick up my things from other room where Sophia should have wait me

"Have you regret coming on match?" I asked as I entered the room

"No, I guess" she said

"I'm telling you, everything will be okay" I said and couple of minutes later we left stadium

We went to Ben's house where he decided that it would be the best to spend evening and have a party for my birthday. I'm not for parties but they are my family, my big blue family and I want to spend evening with them even more now when they win.
