28. Sweet Quarrel

After we ate our lunch, Harvey was here for few more hours, so I had a bit time for rest and relax. I was sitting on the edge of couch looking at them playing games and having fun what was enough to make me less worry about Ben.

"Els, catch" Ben said and I barely caught joystick which he threw at me

"And that's for what?" I asked confused

"We haven't played it since first date so let me see how many things you remember" he said

"First date? That was not a first date" I said

"For me it was" he said laughing

"Oh, mister stubborn got me in his hop when I thought he was just being friendly?" I asked

"maybe" he said and winked at me "play" he said pointing to joystick in my hand

As Harvey and I put teams on I decided to joke with Ben, and I put him out of first XI on what he reacts in nanosecond.

"Hey, that's not fair of you Ela" he groaned at me

"What?" I asked acting confused

"You can't put me out just like that" he said pointing to TV but looking at me

"Rudiger is better than you" I said and laughed to myself as I heard Harvey laughing too, let's just say this time I won at Ben's jokes

"Okay then you will sleep at his house tonight" he said looking at me seriously what made me confused and surprised by his reaction

"I'm just kidding" I said

"Whatever, I am not" he said

Let's just say for the rest of time while Harvey was here Ben completely ignored me just because of one stupid joke I made on him.

"And you will ignore me for the rest of the day just because I joked with you?" I asked sitting as close to him as I could

"For the rest of the week, yes" he said

"Seriously?" I asked being really hurt now

"I said I don't like when the girl I love joke with me" he said and I remembered the day he told me that for the first time, that was the day he first told me that he loves me

"Ben, I'm sorry" I said sadly "I thought it would be funny, I'm really sorry, I didn't want to make you feel that way" I said

"whatever" he said not even look at me for a second

I didn't know what to do and I just walked to his bedroom leaving him alone in the living room.

What if he got enough of me last a week because we're spending way more time together than we did before and because I moved in with him since he got injured? What if he really needs space and to be alone? And he even told me earlier today that he is adjusted to be alone.

"Hey, where are you going?" he asked confused as he saw me with small bag walking out of his room

"I'm giving you space" I said as he looked at me even more confused

"How do you mean; I'm giving you space? Are you....no, you're not, tell me you're not breaking up with me because of my stupid behaviour" he said looking at me sadly

"I am not breaking up with you, I am just giving you space, you said you are adjusted on being alone and I have feeling you got enough of me past a week since I'm always around you" I said

"Are you joking Ela? What are you talking about?" he asked walking towards me "What are you talking about? How could I get enough of you? You're all I need; I can't get enough of you" he said stroking my cheek

"I know it was bad of me to behave like that because of stupid game but I.....I just hate when you joke with me, that's actually the only thing I hate about you" he said

"don't go, please" he said, and I could see tears in his eyes for the second time since we met

"I'm sorry" I said and lightly hugged him

"No, I am sorry" he said hugging me back

"You shouldn't be standing like this" I said

"I'm okay and I'm thinking of a bit run in next few days" he said smiling at me

"I hate to say this, but I need to agree with you this time, you need to start slowly walking by your own and try a bit of run" I said, and he smiled even more

"You always agree with me at the end" he said full of himself

"Just because I know how stubborn you are" I said

"Just because you love me" he said smiling at me proudly as he slowly sat back on the couch

"Definitely no" I said and few seconds later I smiled at him and sat next to him

"What are we going to do?" I asked leaning my head on the back of couch looking at him doing the same

"Whatever you want" he said and pulled me closer to him "Harvey was right" he whispered few moments later as we were just looking at each other and him stroking my cheek

"About what?" I asked

"About that I am obsessed with you" he said as we didn't break eye contact not even on a second

"That was the moment I saw you blushing for the first time" I said putting my hand on his cheek

"I love it so much" I said smiling scratching his beard

"I thought you would say that you hate it and want me to shave it" he said and smiled at me

"Would you shave it if I want you to do so?" I asked

"I like my beard, but I love you more and I would do anything for you even if that means I need to shave my lovely beard" he said

"I love you" I mumbled onto his lips before we kissed

"I love you too" he said and pulled me onto him

"Ben" I mumbled against his lips; I don't want his knee to be more painful because of me sitting onto his lap

"What?" he asked looking at me

"Your knee is still hurting you, I shouldn't be sitting on your lap" I said

"As you said, knee is hurting and you're not sitting on that knee" he said pulling me closer to him and back into kiss
