32. New Year At Home

~LATE DECEMBER, 2021~

"Come on big boy" I said opening front doors of house as Ben walked in the house on crutches

Oscar immediately wanted to jump on Ben, but I took him in my arms as Ben walked over couch sitting on it. I put Oscar back on the floor, but it didn't have much influence, he is too much connected with Ben, and he just jumped on the couch beside him.

"Okay, we will go like this, the compex is here, pills are here, I bring you water and I'm going to clean myself of all this stress" I said putting things right next to him as he laid on the couch stroking Oscar

"Leg up mister broken" I said, and he put leg on pillows

"Not even a kiss since I raised from the dead?" he mumbled, and I get back to him and kissed him

"Be quick miss fancy, I want you beside me" he said slapping my butt, I looked at him as he just smirk at

I walked to the bedroom taking clothes and went to take a shower.

Being in relationship with Ben for only two months feels like it's been two years not two months. In those two months we both saw each other in good and bad moods, strong and weak, happy and almost crying. In those two months we went through so much things, but I don't mind because I'm going through it with him. Everything what happened is good that happened instead this injury that really fucked him up. Only thing I was, and still am, worried about is that I need to go back at work on Sunday when Chelsea has first match in 2022 and leave him alone. I'm home from today since Chelsea's last match was yesterday and I need to get back on work for two days.

As I walked out of shower tub, I put towel around me looking at myself in the mirror.

What in the world did I do that I deserve to have a life like this? I finished college which I wanted, I'm working at place that was a real dream for me and I have, to put it mildly, an amazing boyfriend. I can't be happier.

I got dressed and went down back to Ben who was on the call with someone, but he smiled at me as he saw me. I went to kitchen to let him talk in peace. As I took my phone in hand, I realised what time it is and that it was late, and we didn't had lunch. As I didn't had idea what to cook, I just order Indian food since I know Ben loves it a lot. Oscar walked towards me, and I just smiled at him giving him his toy he lost here.

"I'm fine.... okay...talk to you soon" I heard Ben saying and I went to living room

"And mister broken, how are we feeling?" I asked sitting next to him

"Miss fancy, I'm feeling good" he said

"I ordered us food" I said taking Oscar onto my lap

"Okay, I'm hungry" he said

"I knew it" I said and smiled at him

"Oscar man, you love her more than me?" he asked looking at Oscar on my lap and stroke him "everyone's so obsessed with you" he said looking at me

"don't overdo it" I said

"I'm not overdoing it" he said stroking my cheek "I love you" he said

"I love you too" I said and kissed him

The rest of day we were relaxing on the couch and watching some movies.

NEW YEAR EVE

Since Ben can't go out, we are spending day at his house alone and I don't really mind.

"First New Year Eve with my girlfriend" Ben said and I smiled at him

He was lying on the couch, and I was sitting next to him what is our most used position for past a month

"Just a relaxing night" I said looking at him

"With you" he added smiling at me

"With you" I said stroking his cheek

"Is Oscar scared of fireworks?" I asked knowing that a lot of dogs fear it

"Not really" he said

"okay" I said, and we turned our head from each other to TV screen where some New Year movie was on

"And here we are the last minutes of 2021" Ben said sitting on couch and looking out of window

"Winning Champions league, finding an amazing girlfriend, having the best time of my life....2021 was such a good year instead this injury" he said looking out of window as fireworks started filling sky, but it was still few seconds of 2021

"It was an amazing year" I said, and he looked at me

"Come on.... closer, quicker Els" he said making me laugh and just as clock struck midnight we kissed, entering new year together

"Happy new year, love" he mumbled against my lips

"Happy new year Benjamin" I said, and he rolled his eyes

"don't roll your eyes" I said smiling at him

"Then don't call me Benjamin" he frowned at me

"But I love it" I said making puppy face because I know he is weak at that

"don't make that face, you know I am weak at it" he said pulling me into kiss once again

"please" I mumbled onto his lips

"Please what?" he asked laughing

"Let me call you Benjamin, let it be your new year decision" I said

"Ugh, but not around anyone okay?" he asked, and I nodded

"okay" I said smiling at him as he just pulled me into hug looking at last fireworks on the sky
