85. Bridesmaids First Sight

18TH JUNE 2024 (3rd anniversary)

Today is the day when I'm going to marry the love of my life and I am more than excited.

"Hey sweetie, we going to dress you up before aunties come up, okay?" I said and took little white dress from the chair

"you're so excited, aren't you?" I asked as she started smiling with fingers in her mouth

I put little white dress on Grace and get her ready for wedding day just few seconds before my bridesmaids came into room

"Oh, look at her" Sophia whined immediately lightly pinching Grace's cheek

"Are you ready?" Kennedy asked putting her hand on my shoulder

"Yes and no" I said

"I heard Ben didn't sleep a wink because he is too nervous" she said and smiled at me

"Where is your dress?" Sophia asked looking around the room as I just laughed

"On the safe from your curious eyes" I winked at her, and she rolled her eyes

I nervously walked towards guest room and looked at my wedding dress biting my eyes. I couldn't wait for girls to see it and then to see Ben's reaction. At first, I didn't want this dress even if I immediately fell in love with it, just because it is maybe too open on the chest, but I couldn't go against my heart and I had to buy it. As I put on my wedding dress, I looked at myself in the mirror with a smile on my face. I took a deep breath and walked towards my and Ben's bedroom where girls were.

"Are you ready?" I asked through lightly opened doors

"yes" they all said

"Close your eyes" I said and few seconds later I entered room "Open your eyes" I said smiling and they gasped, putting hands on their mouths as their eyes wide open on the sight of my dress

"Oh....my.... goodness" Alex said raising her hand to me and when I put my hand on her she spinned me around

"You look unbelievable" Sophia said

"Thank you" I said happily but nervously smiling "Now I want to see all of you" I said

Few moments later I was alone with Grace in bedroom. Ben and I didn't talk since yesterday morning when he went to Mason and stayed there with his best men. My wedding dress was locked in guest room for over a week, so Ben didn't saw it.

I smiled at his message and just when I wanted to answer on his message, I heard bedroom's door opening.

I put my phone on the nightstand, kissed Grace on the forehead

"Daddy sent you this" I whispered to her and then turned to doors

"Oh my god, look at you" I said not supposed to hide the excitement and happiness when I saw them

They looked so incredible, and I couldn't be happier to have them as my bridesmaids.

I was at Mason's house since yesterday morning and I was more than missing Grace and Ela already, firstly, because this is the first time, I'm far from them for more than few hours. From next week it's going to be hard for all the three of us because I'm starting to play at group stage matches for Euro2024. Guys already had two matches, but I wasn't there because Ela and I were in last preparations for today.

"You ready?" James came into room looking at me as I was trying to tie my tie, but I was that nervous that it didn't go well

"Do I look like I am?" I asked as he came closer to me helping me with tie

"No, but I know you are deep inside of you" he said pointing to my heart as I just exhaled closing my eyes for a second

"we're downstairs, when you want to come" he said and left the room leaving me to prepare myself for what is coming

I got photo of Grace, from Ela, in her little white dress and I couldn't stop staring at her. I hoped Ela is going to send me a picture of herself, but it's her, if she kept it from me this whole time, she won't give up on herself few hours before we must see each other. After I got (not really) ready I went downstairs to meet my best men. James, Harvey, Reece, Mason and Tom were sitting in living room ready for ceremony.

"And look at our groom" Mason said and I just smiled at them lightly

I was too nervous about this, and my heart was threatening to jump out of my chest.
