99. More Surprises

Months were passing by, and Ben and I were getting better every day even the tension was clear because of Joanna's due date was getting closer which means they are going to do paternity test soon and Ben was so stressed about it and beside that we can expect her to give birth any day from now.

A month, that is how long I stood still without sleeping with Ben in the same bed.

Matches at Chelsea were going great, they were constantly winning instead two unlucky matches where they played with second team and lose but it wasn't much important matches, so boys didn't take it by heart that much.

Sophia was now halfway through her pregnancy, and I was so happy to be able to see her through it almost every day because she was the happiest pregnant woman that I ever seen in my life. Mason on the other hand was over the moon and back of happiness and he was taking unexplainable care of Sophia what sometimes was going on her nerves because he treated her like she is invalid, but she finds it cute.

Beside Mason and Sophia preparing for being parents James and Kennedy were finally planning their weeding, but we still must wait next summer for it to come real.

Then we have Kai and Sophia number 2, there is nothing new, they're still so in love, happy with each other but every time you ask them about little Havertz and wedding there is always answer, it will happen when it happens, still don't understand their sentence but we are hoping for Kai's move as soon as possible just as Timo's.

Paula has been weird last few days and I'm planning to have serious talk with her tonight and find out what is happening with my favourite blondie.

Ben's and mine honeymoon is still set for our fourth relationship anniversary and first wedding anniversary which is for a week.

"hey" Ben's voice returned me back to reality "Um... that's nice... what's his name?" Ben asked and I realised it's Joanna clearly telling him she gave a birth to her son

"Nice.... okay.... bye" he said and hang up as his face immediately fell

"Hey, it's okay" I said taking his hand in mine

"What if I really am father?" he asked, and this is the first time he gave up on his I'm not a father "Are you going to leave me? I'm going to be alone, not being able to live" he said, and I just hugged him tightly

"we'll be okay, I promise, as long as you don't decide to live with her if he is yours, we will get this" I said, and he cup my face

"Even if he is mine, I won't live with her" he said leaning his forehead against mine

"You promise?" I asked and he nodded

"I promise, you're the only one and I'm sorry for putting you in this situation" he said as I closed my eyes

"That just tested us" I said and he nodded

The rest of the evening we spent playing with Grace, and Ben trained walking with her.

Another night that Ben was putting Grace to sleep, and I have to say she falls asleep much easier with him than with me. I decided to call Paula now and ask her what is happening.

"Hey Paula" I said smiling at her as she was much relaxed

"hey" she said quietly

"what's wrong? you have been so weird past few days and now you don't look much good" I said

"I'm sick that's all" she said and first what came on my mind was that we are probably getting another baby on the way in Chelsea, and I couldn't hide my smile

"What kind of sick?" I asked

"Virus, I'm throwing up, my head is hurting, nothing special but it sucks" she said

"Do you want me to come over tomorrow when boys leave for training?" I asked

"No need, I'm okay" she said

"I'm stubborn if you forgot Paula" I said, and she exhaled

"Okay, you can come tomorrow when Timo leave for training" she said, and I smiled proudly

"Be okay and I'll see you tomorrow" I said

"bye" she said, and I waved to her hanging up

NEXT DAY

It was now 4pm and boys were leaving for evening training before tomorrow's match. As soon as Ben left I took Grace's favourite teddy bear and bottle with water and we left to go to Timo's and Paula's.

"Hey Paula" I said as she opened doors

"Hey, you two" she said and lightly smiled letting Grace and me in

Couple of first minutes she was just talking to Grace as I was thinking about how to start conversation about what is on my mind about her sickness.

"Paula" I called her, and she looked at me "can I be totally direct?" I asked

"what's wrong?" she asked sounding worried

"This year is full of surprises, and everything so do you think you and Timo are a part of it?" I asked not direct

"What do you mean?" she asked

"I said I'll be direct so.... are you maybe pregnant?" I asked and she just looked down at her crossed legs that Grace was trying to climb on "Paula" I took her hand in mine and she looked at me

"There is a chance" she said, and I tried my best to hide smile because I didn't know why she was actually scared but I am sure there is no need for it because she and Timo are together for a long time now

"Have you done test?" I asked and she shook her head "do you have it?" I asked and she nodded

"I bought it this morning while Timo was still asleep" she said

"Go and do it, Grace and I are waiting here" I smiled at her, and she nervously walked away
