We walked towards the town. Alma led us and I clutched onto Bruno. Leaning over to me he kissed my temple and brought his arm around my shoulder giving me the silent promise that I could lean on him. I looked at him and kissed his cheek.

Alma brought us firstly to Selena's shop, where I knew she wanted me to thank her for her hard work.

"Señora Madrigal!" Selena said as we entered the store.

"Selena, you did a wonderful job with my future daughter-in-law's dress. We wanted to stop by and thank you."

Selena looked at Bruno and I and smiled. "What a sight!" She said, "You were not kidding yesterday when you said that you loved him!"

"Of course not, how could I lie about something like that?" I laughed. "This dress is absolutely stunning, by the way. Thank you for pulling it together so quickly."

"After yesterday, I hope the two of you stop in and allow me to make more things for you. Working with those fabrics yesterday made me do some much needed thinking." Selena turned to Alma. "I think she's just what your family needs."

Alma fumbled with words as Selena turned back to me. "And is that some of your beadwork that you were talking about?"

"Of course it is, I had to go reclaim it from Enrique though. It just matched perfectly."

"How do you come up with the designs? It is almost like magic how you weave beads."

I looked at Alma and then back at Selena. "Well this design is actually influenced by my gift. I walk in other's dreams, and before I knew Bruno as well as I do now, I walked in his. It's a lot of beautiful green mist."

"Wait, you have a gift?"

"Yeah, it is something I generally avoid using, but as a Madrigal I will use it. We will be doing waivers similar to Bruno's to limit nightmares."

Selena looked at Bruno. "You better get those wedding bells soon, amigo, because she is a catch."

"She is." He said softly, looking at me.

"Now, I hope you come to me for that wedding dress." Selena said with a smile. "I rather like your look and want to do more for you. Plus, I didn't get to make Pepa's wedding gown, or Julieta's."

"We will keep you in mind, thank you Selena." Alma said looking at the seamstress. "We must be going, I have to introduce the happy couple to everyone."

"Felicidades to you both!" Selena shouted to us as we left.

Alma gave me an appraising look as we continued on. We met many people and they all wished us congratulations. Finally we entered Enrique's shop and he looked up at us.

"If it's not my favorite artisan!" He said with a smile.

"Hola, Enrique! May I introduce you to my fiancé?" I gently brought Bruno over. "Bruno, this is the vendor I sell my beadwork through, Enrique. Enrique, this is the love of my life, Bruno."

"Nice to meet you." Enrique said shaking Bruno's hand. "I've heard mixed things about you Señor Madrigal, but it seems as if you have quite the steadfast protector in your corner."

Bruno looked over at me and I smiled. "I'm just speaking the truth."

"Speaking of," Alma began.

"Yes! I cut her off, I will be using the gift I have been hiding starting today. Don't worry though, the weekly restock will be punctual and perfect as always."

"You have a gift?" Enrique asked.

"When I sleep I walk in the dreams of others. So I will just be limiting nightmares and things along those lines. Otherwise, it will be business as usual."
