Unbeknownst to me as I ran through dreams, Mirabel was found eight hours into the search. She had not only come home with Alma, who was realizing what she had done to the family, but Bruno as well. Camilo got distracted by the townspeople gathering to help, when he ran up to his father.

"Papi!" Camilo said panicked.

"Milo, what's the matter?" Felix asked.

"Tia (Y/n) said to have you go wake her up if we found Mirabel. I got caught-"

Felix's jovial face fell into fear. "Pepa! Get Julieta, Agustin, and Bruno. Dolores keep an eye on all of you kids."

Pepa rushed over with Julieta. Agustin, and Bruno who were told of my state.

"She?" Julieta had tears in her eyes.

"Papi?" Camilo asked, terrified as he watched the adults quickly go from relief to terror.

"Stay here, Milo." Felix told his son.

The triplets and two of their partners began to run. Bruno was the fastest out of all of them, easily jumping over carts and avoiding people as they came towards Casita to help with the repairs. Had anyone known who he was, for once Bruno Madrigal did not care. He reached the house first, realizing the front door was locked he ran to the back. He threw the door open and quickly unlocked the front door, also throwing it open as Julieta, Pepa, Agustin, and Felix entered.

Bruno took the stairs several at a time and opened the door to see me bloody and unmoving.

The swirls of choking water that kept pulling me under in the dream kept me from breathing. Suddenly I was shaking and I could open my eyes. Taking labored breaths I felt every part of me scream in pain.

"Julieta!" I heard a familiar voice scream. My mind wasn't fully awake, all I felt was pain of bruising and scrapes all over my body.

Suddenly I felt soft warm hands looking me over. I tried to focus but the pain wouldn't allow me to.

"I am so sorry." I heard someone sob. Why did that voice sound so familiar?

"Someone get a bucket of water and a washcloth, I need to see how deep these wounds are. She's lost a lot of blood." I recognized the voice of Julieta.

"I can't lose her, Julie. I know I failed her as a husband, but I need to fix this." The sobbing voice then registered in my mind. Was that Bruno?

I tried to speak, but was hushed by several voices. Someone brought a sloshing bucket into the room and I felt the cool water and washcloth brush against my skin. It stung and my drowsy state was gone.

"Mierda!" I screamed.

"It's going to hurt, hermana." Julieta said frankly. "I, why did you do this to yourself?"

"Mirabel, safe?" I bit out as she continued to clean my battered skin.

"Hermana." Agustin came into my field of vision. "She's safe, everyone is safe."

"Good!" I yelled as Julieta went over a tender cut. My voice hissed out at the contact of the battered flesh of my leg.

A different set of footsteps reached my door and I only heard a strangled sob. "I did this, I caused this."

Alma. Alma was in my house watching her children try and fix me. She walked forward and stood beside Julieta.

"Is this what happened after Bruno-?"

"Si. But I had healing arepas I could give her. Now? Now I just have basic knowledge." Julieta seethed. She continued to clean my cuts but her voice was as cold as ice.
