The time leading up to Camilo's ceremony went by in an instant. Felix, Pepa and I slaved over what was going to be needed.

Selena made Camilo's outfit for the event, and I worked diligently on a tapestry for him. Bruno was also caught up with Mirabel's gift ceremony, two Cumpleaños in two months. It was a hectic time in the Madrigal household. With Pepa running around trying to appease Alma, Felix and I became more and more like true siblings. We made fun of each other constantly. Pepa even became worried that we somehow had a falling out, only to have myself and her husband double over in laughter.

A few nights before the ceremony I cuddled up to Bruno, both of us exhausted from planning the parties.

"Hey, mi vida," I said and he looked at me, the bags under his eyes worse than usual. "I think Felix is pretty much the best hermano. Thank you for marrying me, Brunito, giving me a family."

He smiled lovingly at me and captured my lips in a soft kiss. "You deserve it." He whispered before we drifted off into comforting green mists.

The next few days had me rushing around town. I had a very important list to fulfill and I was not messing up my favorite sobrino's Cumpleaños. I bought everything, gifts that Pepa and Felix had commissioned from local artisans, streamers, decorations, candles. I ran about town like a chicken with my head cut off. Enrique even gathered items for me, trading them off with my weekly restock.

I felt like I had three jobs, and not a second to spare to even spend with my husband. I was still quelling nightmares, just to hopefully keep Bruno's relationships in the family secure. The reassurance from Bruno being there was sorely missed as he spent every waking moment fretting over Mirabel's Cumpleaños. If I got hurt, I'd just stuff an arepa in my mouth then run off to the next task.

On the day of Milo's Cumpleaños, I let out a sigh of relief. This was it, his big day, then I could focus on Bruno. Our only time together had been when we both fell into his dreams. We were still loving, and in love, but I could tell that the feeling he had of something going wrong was eating away at him.

Rolling over and giving Bruno a tender and enamored kiss, we got ready. Reminding him gently of our story performance at the party, he nodded. I let him take his time as I rushed downstairs to begin my duty as a tia. Stepping into the kitchen I noticed Julieta was also already up and working.

"Buenos dias, Julie."

"Buenos dias!" She said with a forced smile.

"You look like you could use some help."

"No, don't worry about it, you are already doing too much. Pepa will want you to hang decorations anyways." She nodded towards the stack of decorations that sat piled out in the entryway. I nodded and began to hang decorations around the house.

I knew Julieta must be stressed, she had so much to do. Her cooking had to be perfect for big events. If I ran into Agustin I'd have to let him know. I hung streamers and was constantly thanking Casita as it assisted me in doing everything.

Isabela was running about making red and yellow roses on pillars and on entryways into rooms. Alma gave me an assessing look as I continued my rounds.

Stopping back in the kitchen, I noticed Julieta talking quietly with Bruno. He didn't look too happy.

"Hey, everything alright in here?" I asked.

Bruno and Julieta jumped, and I shook my head. "You two look super stressed, can I please lend a hand?"

Bruno looked at me and shook his head. "Julie has everything under control, I just wanted to see if she needed help as well." He looked at the basket I carried, laden with supplies. "You, though, look like an extra hand would do some good."
