Waking up from Bruno's dreamscape was becoming more and more torturous by the day. I loved the consistency of knowing where I was going to be when I closed my eyes. Knowing that we had many years of me getting to see and feel the way he thought, it was paradise. I knew that I would never dream for myself again, but he dreamt for both of us.
Opening my eyes with him, in his bed, the smell of fire and earthy sand surrounding me, I smiled. The night prior was a huge success in my book. Bruno laid contents with his nose in the crook of my neck. He let out a low hum and tried to bring me closer to him.
"If my mornings are like this everyday, Bruno, I may just come to like them." I laughed.
"I think you'll make me want to spend more time in bed." He chuckled.
I felt a blush upon my face as I grasped the innuendo. "Definitely not against that."
"Me neither." He said. "Although I want to wait until our wedding night. Make it special, for us."
"You know I'd wait as long as you want. As long as you're by my side, I am happy."
"Good thing I don't plan on going anywhere." Bruno said lifting himself up so he could kiss me lazily.
Our well acquainted lips met with ease. We slowly opened our lips, languidly tasting each other. We only broke the kiss as Bruno let out a slight hiss.
"I should excuse myself." He laughed nervously. "I am a man, it is the morning, and I have a beautiful woman in my bed."
"Oh?" I asked then my eyes widened realizing what he meant. "Ohh! Yeah, you," I coughed awkwardly, "you should take care of that, since we are waiting." I said, my blush creeping down my face.
"Gracias, Amor." He said, kissing my cheek. "You do make it difficult at times, though. Like yesterday in that dress."
"Just go, and don't forget to think about me." I laughed and turned my gaze to the ceiling as he got up.
"You're all I ever think about." He said as he closed the door.
I tried to distract my thoughts from what I knew he was doing. Taking a deep breath I thought of what needed to be done today. I had to make waivers for dream walking, establish that I will be taking appointments in my house, and hopefully get a few beadworking things done. When I remembered that I needed to discuss the tapestry commission from Señora Guzman I sighed.
Giving up on the warmth of the blankets, I grabbed an extra sheet of paper and began to write my waiver. Taking down nightmare type and establishing the specifics of the dreams was a must. I needed to talk to Julieta about getting some sort of quick, easy to make, remedy in case I got hurt during a dream walking session. I didn't want to bother her or give her more work than she already had.
Looking over what I wrote, I nodded to myself. That should cover everything. I thought going down a mental checklist. Reoccurring nighares, causes and inclusions thereof, and level of emotional damage to the person. Deep in thought about if there was anything else to include, Bruno walked back in.
Glancing up I smiled and held out the paper. "Take a look at this, I need your opinion."
He nodded and looked it over. He leaned on the chair where I sat and handed it back to me with a nod. "Looks like you covered everything. As usual, you make sure no stone is unturned."
"Gracias, mi vida, now the hard part is going to be getting your Madre to agree to these terms, and seeing what Julieta can do about healing me if something happens."
"Well then let's get ready to go downstairs." He smiled, leaning down. I quickly pecked his lips and he gave a happy hum.
We both quickly got ready and soon we were helping Julieta finish getting breakfast to the table.
