Bruno and I walked downstairs hand in hand. I leaned heavily on him and we shared a loving smile as we came into the living room. Pepa and Felix gave us a knowing smile.

"What happened to warning us that you would be loud, hermana?" Felix gave a laugh.

"Dreams, remember, hermano, I still have my gift and I feel everything in my dreams." I blushed looking at Bruno. He gave a shy smile and squeezed my hand.

Felix smiled and nodded, and Pepa gave us a loving smile. "I'm happy you two had a night together. You deserve it."

I nodded and let Bruno lead me over to the couch. We sat down and I cuddled into his side. The boneless exhaustion had given way to a sharp anxiety. I had torn into Julieta the day before, and I was very nervous in regards to what we were going to talk about today.

Luisa, who noticed I was awake and gently brought Bruno and I some coffee, and breakfast.

"You slept in." She said with a smile. "You deserve the rest, tia."

Bruno and I shared a look and a rueful smile. The less Luisa and the kids knew about what we got up to in our dreams the better.

"Gracias mi dulce sobrina. Who cooked?"

"Dolores and I, because Mirabel burnt the cocoa before she could get started."

"I told you not to tell tia that!" Mirabel said with an exaggerated groan. "They're never gonna let me forget that now, thanks Luisa."

I giggled and leaned on Bruno and ate the food, slowly sipping my coffee.

"Dolores prepared my coffee didn't she?" I asked.

"Yep." Dolores said with a hum coming into the living room. She wore one of my aprons and smiled at me. "I also remembered that after tio left you changed your coffee preferences to match his, so you both should have it prepared how you enjoy it."

"Dolores!" I whispered in a scolding tone. Bruno put an arm around me and pulled me closer to him.

I looked at him, and his eyes showed sadness deep within as he looked into his mug of coffee.

"I just really missed you." I whispered, trying to chase that sadness away. I knew it would always be there, the guilt, but I didn't want it to weigh on him.

"I know, amor." He said softly, looking at me. I sighed softly and leaned forward, kissing him.

"I have you here now, so all of that is over." I reassured him.

He nodded as he finished eating. Finishing my plate of food as well, Dolores took them into the kitchen where I heard Camilo's "Hey, more dishes?!"

I chuckled and leaned into Bruno. "I hope these kids stay the way they are, happy and-"

I heard a crash from the kitchen, knowing full well Camilo was probably trying to carry too many wet plates. I let out a laugh and rolled my eyes.

"You good in there, hijo?" I yelled into the kitchen.

"All good tia!" He called back, "Just a bit clumsy this morning!"

"Happy and apparently clumsy." I finished the thought and we had a good chuckle about it.

Pepa and Felix shook their head at their son's antics. "I hope he didn't break any plates." Pepa said.

"So what if he did, he's just trying to help." I said with a shrug. "Plates are replaceable, Camilo's feelings of pride in helping are not."

I looked up and saw Julieta who stood awkwardly in the stairwell. "And that is why you're the best of us." She said softly. "Who cares about broken plates, the kids always come first, right?"
