To say that Naruto was as equally shocked as Sasuke would have been an understatement. After Naruto was able to pry the squealing women off of him, he let off an apologetic chuckle and his bright blue eyes caught a glimpse of his old friend. His jaw dropped and shook his head in disbelief at the sight of Sasuke. Immediately after blinking twice and realizing he was not imagining things, he excitedly yelled Sasuke's name and rushed toward him.

With a wide smile on his face, he cheerfully smacked Sasuke on the shoulder and told him he could not believe that this was happening -- that he'd meet his friend again after years of not seeing him. Naruto told Sasuke that he'd been on his mind lately because of the letter he just received. It was only after that that Naruto noticed me standing beside Sasuke. My presence and the fact that Sasuke was holding Uta by the wrist bewildered him even more. He shook Sasuke's shoulders and demanded answers even if everyone was ogling us. Sasuke just pursed his lips at him and sighed deeply at his best friend's explosive reaction.

Before Sasuke could utter a single word, a lithe woman with a red forehead protector and shoulder-length, pastel pink-colored hair called out for him. Sasuke-kun, that's what she called him. The woman paced towards us and wrapped her arms around Sasuke's back. Her proximity to me makes me notice her black gloves and pink elbow and knee protectors.

Wrapping her arms around Sasuke without reserve, she hugged him tightly -- wrinkling her sleeveless red qipao dress and her black shorts. Beaming from ear to ear at the sight of him, her forest-green eyes were teary.

This woman needed no introduction. Like Naruto, she's well known in our world for aiding in the Shinobi Alliance's efforts during the Fourth Shinobi World War. Even if I was not socially introduced to this woman, it was impossible not to know of Sakura Haruno.

Despite being taken aback by her actions, Sasuke let Sakura hug him for a while. He let her and it made me feel uneasy. I couldn't help but remember Orochimaru's words about their past.
