"Look over there Miss Kaiya." Naga tugs on the sleeve of my black swing coat. Lifting his hand, he points out to a sturdy looking cottage made of dark red bricks and a thatched hay roof. "That's Grandma Ai's house."

Sprinting gleefully towards the brightly colored house enclosed by unruly hedges, he gets off the winding dirt trail that we're treading; cutting across the field of wild cogon grass to get closer to the distant cottage.

"Naga come back here!" I call out to him. But the boy continues on his way and doesn't seem to hear me. Sweat trickles from my forehead stinging my eyes. The dry heat makes me sweat profusely underneath my clothes. Ugh. Summer is the worst season.

Squinting my eyes, I try to keep watch of Naga from a distance. I briefly take out my fake dark-rimmed glasses but the glare of the midday sun is too unrelenting to let me get a better view. "Don't." Sasuke cautions me all of a sudden as if he could tell what I was about to do. It's really strange how he does this from time to time since I've been traveling with him. "The boy can handle himself. You, on the other hand..."

Sasuke stops himself speaking more. Glancing to my left, I see him walking beside me now with a stoic expression on his face. "I don't need another problem to solve."
