Thanks to Garuda, we were able to cover a lot of ground today. We easily passed through Otogakure and into the Land of Fire. Flying over the Hokage Province, we arrived in Kogeta Province and landed on Miya Lake -- a quaint village frequented by tourists because of the lake's clear, pristine waters and the myth of the Korobukkuru cave.

Miya Lake seems like a great place to visit.

From pictures, billboards, and posters of boat tours splattered all over town -- offering package deals to visitors -- the tourist attractions seem to be a wonder to behold. Korobukkuru cave has two chambers that admit light which makes the turquoise blue waters of the Miya Lake emit an ethereal bluish tint on the walls. But as great as that is, I don't think we should have stopped over here.

If we continued on our way then we could have even reached Takamagahara by nightfall. That's the place we need to be. That's where Orochimaru said we could meet a man named Tomo who used to work for Junichi and now runs an underground business in the said place.

Staying here feels like a waste of time especially when Sasuke and I only have until the next full moon to break the spell. But we had to stop because of Konoha's protocol. We have to follow the rules since Captain Yamato is here and that just sucks.

Apparently, the holy site of Takamagahara closes its doors and refuses to accept entry at a certain time every day. It's something that doesn't make sense to me at all. I don't see the point of respecting the rules of a holy place that lets unholy things happen in the cover of night.

But it's not like I could complain about it. I'm assuming the cover of a civilian. I'm not supposed to care about matters that pertain to a shinobi's expertise. After what happened with Orochimaru, I know I have to be more vigilant in remaining inconspicuous. Captain Yamato might find out who I am if I'm not careful. And if that ever happens, that will spell trouble for me and Sasuke. So I just have to bear with this for now. At least, Captain Yamato got a livable suite for us to stay the night which is on Konoha's dime since the Hokage approved Sasuke's request.
