• I changed Sasuke's canon height of 5'9 to 6'0 feet. Again, this story is noncanon/ alternate universe so just giving you a head's up.

Sasuke Uchiha.
How could this happen? There are over a billion people in this world that I could have seen when I turned to face my unwitting scapegoat. Why did it have to be this degenerate?
His lips part at the sight of me seeming to be taken aback by the blatant lie that I've just told. Dark onyx-colored colored eyes penetratingly peer into mine, sending an unnerving chill up my spine. I can feel my heart pounding hard on my chest.
At 5'7 feet, it's rare for me to feel small around anyone, but this man towers over me, making me feel uneasy. He's an imposing figure of a man probably at least 6'0 feet. He looks strong, not as muscular as my uncle or my dad but he has an athletic built. And despite, his raggedy clothes, he clearly stands out in a crowd.
This is the man who attacked my village in order to kidnap my uncle. He's the same man who fought my dad and caused him to suffer nerve damage all his life.
This man before me is pure scum.
When I'm confronted with an enemy, I rarely show signs of hesitation. I size up my opponents, spot their weaknesses and figure out how to defeat them. I usually win.
But this man is Sasuke Uchiha. And I am not stupid enough to think I can take him on. He's one of the most powerful shinobis living in this day and age. This man is also a dangerous reformed criminal. More dangerous than the three goons I am trying to get away from. And I just declared to these goons before us that he's my husband.
