• Added a few things here about Kumogakure, particularly, the Raikage clan (which is noncanon). I hope you won't mind. And Kumogakure is very technologically advanced here, just giving you a head's up.

Transformation Jutsu- allows the user to take the appearance of whatever they choose. Most often used to disguise the user as another person, but they can also turn into an animal, plant, or inanimate object.

10-70- Kumo Police Jargon for "Prowler Alert/Prowler Report"

• Sasuke's finally appearing in Chapter 10 so watch out for that.

The night rolls over the cloudy skies of Kumogakure by the time I arrive at the South Gate of the Raikage Mansion with Darui and my best friends.

Standing on the well-lit asphalt road leading to the gate, I gaze at the sigil of my clan which was seamlessly welded to the center of both doors of the imposing wrought-iron gate -- a golden sun with sixteen triangular rays which represent the sixteen districts of Kumogakure that the Raikage clan is duty-bound to protect and rule.

The Sixteen Pointed Sun is the symbol of the strength, honor, and integrity that my clan has vowed to uphold. Values I have strived hard to imbibe my whole life. Values I hope to prove -- to my dad -- to still have when I tell him the truth about the conspiracy against me.

"The South Gate is quite grand, isn't it?" Karui exclaims behind me, her pink lips curling up in appreciation as she ogles at the golden lily-shaped spikes at the top of the gate which faintly glinted in the yellow light of the lamp posts that stood on each side of the paved road.

I nod and agree with her. It is grand. I think that was exactly the effect that my ancestors wanted to impress upon those who beheld the twenty-foot high structure before us.

Unlike the simple and functional North Gate which is regularly used to enter and exit the Raikage Mansion, the South Gate is a towering and imposing figure -- an outright show of the Raikage clan's power -- which is only used during ceremonial events.
