Hired Day 39- Te Amo Brazil!

Heaven POV

"So how was your project now?" I asked Annika, habang nag-skype kami.

"Ito ok naman. Patapos na talaga sa wakas. Woohh!"

"That's good to hear. What did you have for lunch?"

"Ayun..kanin, adobo, burger..at gulay. Hehehe." she said shyly. Hehehe. Para bang nahihiya pa siya sa pagkain niya.

Which is I really like about her. Hindi siya katulad ng ibang babae na mapili masyado sa pagkain.

"Minsan talaga napapaisip ako. Kung tao ka ba na kumakain ng pagkain, or pagkain na kumakain ng tao."

"Oi..Maputlang Masungit! Grabe ka naman! Kasalanan ko bang masipag akong kumain ah? Hmmm!" and she pouted. Hahaha. I love watching her pout and calling me maputlang masungit.

"Yah, yah. I never say anything. So anyway, I gotta go now."

"Ok. Huwga mong kalimutan pasalubong ko ah. Para makapasok ka sa bahay..hahaha"

"Yah, I'l bring Brazilian beauty..."

"Ok. Bahala ka! Dun ka tumira sa hotel room. Goodbye!" and she really log off. Hahaha. She's too cute when she's mad.

So here I am, katatapos lang makipag-usap sa slowpoke kung asawa sa skype and I can see and feel that she's uncomfortable. Para bang, something is occupying her thought. She can't look at me ng maayos, kahit im fully clothes. Then I have to ask her again kung may itatanong ako or she will ask me to repeat what I just said. Something is definitely bothering her but she doesnt want to tell me. Kaya pinabayaan ko nalang dahil uuwi na naman din ako the following day.

"Sir, tapos ko na pong ayusin ang itinerary niyo bukas." napahinto ako sa pag-iisip kay Annika when Alfie spoke.

"Ok, Alfie thank you. You can leave now and tomorrow is your off too. Just meet me the following day ok."

"Yes sir. Thank you sir. Goodnight." tapos lumabas na siya ng suite ko.

Coming here is not really in my plan. Actually kasi dapat si Daddy ang pupunta dito, but then our brach in New York has some problems na kailangan talaga si Daddy kaya we decided na ako nalang ang ipadala dito. And I really wanted Annika to come with me, but then again, it's wrong timing. Kaya ito tuloy, medyo boring ang almost seven days na stay ko dito. Kaya I have to call her everynight to lessen my bordome.

I don't know though kung bakit parang hinahanap ko ang ka-slowpoke ni Annika. Her slowpoke personality makes me laugh even after a damn day at work. Kaya nga when I left her last time because of Kanikka, I decided that I have to make it for her dahil ayokong may isipin siyang kakaiba and it might lead to something more. Kaya mas maaga, mas maganda.

Im not the type of person to reach up to someone else just to please them. I used to be reached up. But for Annika, I have to reach up and kneel down for her, para hindi siya mahirapan. I know this is not what we have decided during our contract signing, pero hindi ko mapigilan ang sarili kung hindi mag-alala sa kanya. She's the first person that makes me do this unintentionally. Kahit pa nga si Nikka na matagal ko nang kaibigan, hindi ako nagkaganito sa kanya. I never concern her feeling too much. And speaking of Nikka, my phone is ringing and she's calling.
