Travis POV
There she was, Dawn, laughing and giggling at whatever Z had to say to her. I didn't like that. I felt the need to go over to him, punch him in the face and let him know not to make her laugh.
I wouldn't dare though, he was bigger than me. Not that I'm scared, just frightened a little. Yeah frightened.
I've always had a crush on Dawn since we were little. Never said anything thought because I didn't want to ruin our friendship. I was to much of a wimp to tell her my feelings.
I looked down at my plate. Z and his buddies cooked a wild pig over a fire. I'm not gonna lie, Z is an amazing cook. It didn't taste like bacon but tasted like chicken almost.
The pathway to get to the "dinning area" as the villains called it was light up. Even though theres light out the trees were tall and made it a little bit darker. It looked like something you would walk through to get to prom. They set up three long benches beside one another. And when I say long I mean long. Could fit thirty people on one side.
If you're not fat.
There were little lights hanging from the trees that zigzagged across from one tree to another. Bet it looks nice at night.
I tried to block out Dawns laugh while eating. It was hard to do so "what am I going to do Drey?"
He wouldn't stop flirting and it was driving me nuts. He looked like someone out of a magazine while I looked like I just got done fishing. "Drey help me out here" I looked to my left to see an empty plate and no one there.
I looked over behind me and there he was. Drey dancing to the music the villains were performing. The guitar and buckets in sync were not bad. They just needed someone to beat box for them. "Drey" I yelled louder, trying not to get Dawns attention
"Travis come dance with me" he said doing the stinky leg
"No way, you look stupid" Drey stoped and looked me dead in the eyes. He started to slowly walk towards me while moving his butt up and down "don't you dare" I warned
He started going faster "my anaconda don't-"
"Don't"
"My anaconda don't-"
"Drey please, I'm begging you. Not thing again" I pleaded. He then begun to sing Anaconda while twerking his was over to me. After his performance he sat the opposite way of me.
"Why such a Debby downer?"
I sipped on some water "Dawn hasn't stopped talking to that Z guy" I looked over to the right and he put more food on her plate. That's not fair, we were told we only get one serving.
"That's not fair, we were told we only get one serving" Drey complained
"That's exactly what I was thinking" I threw my hands up in the air. A man is suppose to eat more than one serving. We have to build up are muscles.
"Here she comes" Drey whispered "acted normal"
Dawn sat across the table from me. Looking me in the eye smiling "I brought you guys something" she looked so cute it was hard to stay mad at her. She pushed her plate full of pig and fruit towards up "I know you guys are still hungry"
Drey spun around kicking me in the arm "you know that I love you right?" Drey held Dawns hand while the other went to grab some fruit "of course Drey"
"So-" I began "what were you two talking about?" I asked trying not to make it seem like I care
"Not much-" she took a sip of some water "- he was telling me about this place. Apparently if you walk deeper into the woods you will come across a fence that we should never cross over"
