Lost In The Jungle

Over the next few days it was time to meet up together and sneak around. We had to wait to do anything on the third night due to the Boss being out more.

It was also a good thing because we had eyes on him almost everywhere he went. Nothing to suspicious. Just him Bossing people around until in the middle of dinner yesterday he left.

You of course me, Drey, and Travis followed. Further down the beach away from the camp was a pathway hidden with with branches.

We didn't follow him due to it getting dark and I was to scared I'd fall in a hole again. Drey and Travis being understandable of that said we could wait to find out with everyone else.

"He's been in his tent for a while now. I don't think he's coming out" Edwin said followed by Drey who went to make sure Boss would be staying in for tonight

Drey being Drey made everyone wear black to be like ninjas. We honestly looked so cute I snagged a few picture here and there to show Rose and Blue.

Everyone wore black pants along with a black hoodie. Bugs were out like crazy tonight so I put on a black toboggan and threw my hood on over it.

"Dawn I said to wear all black" Drey said

"I am" I said looking at myself

"Shoes Dawn. You're wearing white shoes"

"I like these shoes. They're comfortable"

"You can't be a ninja if you wear white shoes. You look ridiculous" Drey said grabbing my camera and snapping a picture

"I look ridiculous? You made us all look ridiculous"

"Says the one who kept calling us cute and wouldn't stop taking pictures" He got me there

"Yeah? Well that's because I won't to show Blue and Rose our mission" I fought back

"Enough you two" Travis whispered yelled "we don't have all day"

"Night Travis. We don't have all night" Drey said causing Travis to groan in annoyance

"Show us the way" Z said

"We've been searching for hours now" Yuki said starting to give up

"Are you this was the right way?" Asked Z

We went down the exact path we had followed boss to but haven't found anything yet. It was dark, cold and hard to see with the flash lights.

"This is where we s-"

"Look" I blurted pointing over to a small like in the distance

We all made a run to it and slowed down when we noticed it was passed the fence. The light got closer and it looked to be a small building in the distance.

"Should we go?" Edwin asked a a little worried it was over the fence

"It's dangerous. You know what happened last time" Z mentioned

"I'm okay if you guys are" I said wanting to know what was in that building

"Are you crazy Dawn? What if we come upon the Lurker?" Travis asked

"I told you guys about it. If we happen to come across we know what to do" I said

"If we do this we're laying some rules down" Yuki sternly said

Everyone agreed but Edwin. I didn't blame him for being a little scared. Drey agreed to stay back with him at the fence just incase.

"Then it's settled. Edwin and Drey will stay here while we go check out the building" Z said making sure it was okay with Edwin

"Edwin and Drey, if we happen to not be back in the next hour go get help-" Yuki said handing them a walki talki "-radio us if you see anything. We quickly make our way over there. If we see anything we slit up and quickly make it back over the fence to distract it" he explained

The four of us jumped the fence and ran to the building. We looked through the windows to make sure it was clear to go in. The door was locked so we slid the window open and jumped in.

We turned our lights off incase the Boss were to show up. Our only light source being a small burning candle.

"He must have been here. The candle is still burning" I pointed out

"Where did he go? We haven't seen him" Travis said

Looking around the walls were more pictures of the lurker along with the islanders. Travis waved me over to look at what he had found.

Pictures on the wall of Drey, Travis and I since the day we arrived. There were even pictures we didn't even known were taken of us.

"What the hell?" Travis asked himself

"Why are there pictures of everyone?" Zero asked even though nobody knew the answer

"Look at this" Yuki said and we three walked over

Looking behind his shoulders were folders full of pages. Reading some it had information about everyone. Seemed normal considering he was the Boss and had to check up on everyone here but what caught our eyes were information about the three of us.

"How does he know all of this?" I asked flipping threw pages of information about me

"I never mentioned how or that my dad died" Travis said showing us where it had said it

I stuffed my bag with mine and Dreys folder wanting to continue to read more. Travis doing the same with his.

"You shouldn't take it. He could notice" Z said holding my hand lightly to stop me

"He has no right to threw our lives. He's the one that made his people bring us here" I angrily said zipping up my bag

"I get that Dawn but he will get suspicious of us" Z said

"We act normal then. June will be here soon so he can grow suspense on her instead" I argued

"Zero is right Dawn. She isn't here now, he could come back later tonight or tomorrow" Yuki agreed

"I didn't even read a quarter of what it said. What I did read was nothing I have mentioned. Who knows what else is in there"

"I'm with Dawn. Drey would want to see it to. Aren't you guys curious of what your folder has?" Travis said looking out the window

Just then we got a call from Edwin and Drey that they were hiding because someone was coming up from behind them.

We quickly got out shutting the window and hiding. Me and Travis behind a bush while Z and Yuki ran behind two separate trees.

We watched as Boss walked into the building blowing out the candle. He then walked out with a folder and went back to the camp. We all sighed heavily once he was gone.

"Let's go" Yuki said

As he said that we heard voices deeper in the woods. At one point it sounded like Drey then Edwin.

"Please help me" the voice sounding like Edwin yelled

Z jumped up ready to go towards the voice but I held him back "it's not him Zero"

"But it sounds just like him" he worriedly said

"She's right. Remember it can copy us" Yuki said pushing him back

Just then out from the woods fog started to come our way quickly. We got up and started to run back towards the fence.

I looked back to see Travis had tripped. I went back to help him up and in the distance was the Lurker jumping from tree to tree "hurry" I yelled

We finally made it to the fences coughing catching some of the fog. It felt like as if my throat was closing and someone squeezing my lungs.

Hearing everyone panic around I tried getting my balance but failed miserably and feel to the ground. Feeling someone hold me, my vision got blurry and I started seeing static.

Just then everything went dark.
