A man with short brown hair bent down infront of Travis. Drey and I exchange looks yo one another afraid of what was going to happen. Travis looked at the man with no fear on his face "I got a question for you boy and you better answer correctly" the man said spitting beside his foot.
Travis looked over at me with a concerned look in his eyes. The man looked over his shoulders, following Travis eyes. I know notice the man with one blue eye and the other green.
He wipped his head around to travis and grabbed his chin "no cheating!" He yelled through his teeth "now we looked through your bags on the boat and notice a few pictures that looked familiar"
I wipped my head over towards Drey to see him whistling like he didnt know what was going on. That idiot had the nerve to bring all the information he had.
"It seems you three were trying-" he said with hatred "-to find us. Now why would you want to find criminals?" He continued, waiting for an answer from Travis
"B-Bcause we thought you all had superpowers?" He said but came out like more of a question. The guys laughed loudly earning stares.
Travis shook his head like he was ashamed of saying something so stupid. The man got up and walked over to a group of guys yelling that he had to telling them something funny.
"What the fuck Travis?" Drey said "now they know to hind their powers" he complained
Travis rolled his eyes and looked over to me "give me a bobby pin" I made sure that everyone was distracted before throwing it across. Travis caught it with ease and Drey grabbed the one that fell.
"We should wait until it's dark. So they cant see us" I said
Drey nodded "good point" they gave me back the bobby pins because it was easy for me to hide them.
Most of the time we just sat there doing nothing. Everyone at camp would always give us a glance then go back to doing whatever they were doing before. It was close to dark and they had light up fires all around the camp to make everything glow.
The light coming from the fire light up the ocean beautifully. In the daytime it was so clear you could see all kinds of colorful things, but since it's dark, it kind of made the ocean look a bit scary.
It looked black and almost as if something would come out of the water any minute. I closed my eyes hearing the light sound of the waves crashing as everyone started to go to bed.
