"Try it again"

I was currently on the beach with Drey and Travis who wanted to try to get me to go through things again. It's been hours and no luck.

They thought it was so cool that their friend has powers that they made me miss breakfast for this. I was trying to be nice to the two but it was hard on an empty stomach.

"What the hell!" I yelled holding my eye into my hand trying to hold back tears "I wasn't ready"

They were currently throwing tennis balls at me to see if it would go through me. Of course none did and I was stuck getting hit in the face and stomach by a balls all morning.

"Stop playing around Dawn! This is serious"

"I'm not playing around Drey! You're the one throwing a hundred mile ball at my face!"

Travis took the tennis ball out of Dreys hand before he could throw another one at me "this isn't getting us no where" he said walking up to me checking my eye

He lightly touched underneath and I flinched at the pain. It would definitely leave a bruise.

I wanted to hang out with the boys today since the three of us haven't been alone. I only agreed to do this because Drey said he would give me his dessert at dinner.

"Let's take a break, yeah?" Travis asked

I looked up to see a small smilie on his face. He still had my face in his hands. I couldn't help but smilie back at him.

There was that feeling again. I could feel my face heat up. I just stared at him, too nervous to look away. Maybe I'd feel embarrassed if I looked somewhere else. Why? I don't know.

As he leaned in, I did the same. But I think I leaned in to far making myself go straight through him and face first on the sand, making a little 'ow' sound.

I picked up my head blowing the sand that was on my mouth. Feeling the guys pick up my arms and helping me up, I wiped the sand off the rest of my face.

"Oh now you do it" Drey said teasingly

"I don't know how I did it though. It just happened"

I honestly didn't know how I did it. All I was focused on at that moment was Travis "well I have an idea" Drey said walking back to the camp. Me and Travis following behind as he helped me wipe off the sand on my clothes.

"Before you two were about to kiss, I no-"

"We weren't about to kiss!" Me and Travis said at the exact same time. As Travis said this I notice his voice cracked a little. Most guys would find that embarrassing but I find it adorable.

I awkwardly laughed along with Travis. Walking up to Drey holding onto one of his arms trying to hide my face. Travis moving on the other side of Drey trying his hardest to look anywhere but me.

"Anyway. What I was saying was, you were concentrated on Travis. Did you think of anything else at that moment?" Drey asked me

I thought for a moment. I replied with 'no'. All I was thinking king about was Travis and how I felt.

"Then maybe when you want to glitch-" Drey started hitting my shoulder "see what I did there?"

"I sure did" I said slightly rolling my eyes at the name everyone agreed to give me

"All you have to think about is the situation you're in. Think of nothing else but your main priority. Maybe concentrating so hard you can have full control of what you do. Just listen to your body" Drey explained

"That's actually pretty smart. My mom did always say to listen to your body when you feel something isn't right. You said when you glitched you felt stinging?" Travis added to the conversation

"Yeah, stinging. Kinda like a static from a tv, or when your leg goes to sleep" We sat down at the table after getting our plates made. Waiting for the rest of the group.

"then if you start to feel that then relax your body. Like in the tent, when Anastasia did the breathing exercise, she helped calm you down. Maybe if you ever glitch just know you have full control and just need to be calm during the-" he stopped for a moment thinking "-transitioning? I don't know what to call it"

I shook my head at the two boys processing their thoughts. They were both really smart. I was happy to have both here during this time. Especially Drey, since he was obsessed with these kinds of things.

"Good thinking Travis. So we have it then. When you want to Glitch, just concentrate super hard and think of what you need to do in the situation-" Drey started taking a bite of his chicken without waiting for the rest

"-then when you don't want to glitch, just relax your body and try to calm down. Maybe even do the breathing exercises" Travis finished off for Drey

I nodded my head "well, what if I can't calm down. What if something bad happened and I'm panicking the whole time?" I asked the two boys

"When you feel panic or stress your body sends out an adrenaline rush. Sometimes it's hard to calm down but with some practice you will get used to it" Travis said handing me a drink. I gave him a small 'thanks'.

"Don't worry Dawn. This isn't something you will accomplish over night. It takes time. You got us" Drey said happily

I smiled knowing the boys would be there for me no matter what. The information they gave me would actually help my situation.

I looked up to see the rest of the group making their way towards the table. Edwin covered in dirt from the garden and Yuki covered in oil.

"Where's Zero?" Travis asked looking around for his buddy

"He's helping Ivan and Anastasia around the island. Anastasia loves to cook so she'll be helping with food and Ivan likes to mess with the radio so he'll be helping Zero with that too" Blue explained sitting down beside me like always

"How is y'all's day going so far?" Rose asked the three of us

"Really good actually!" Drey started but I cut him off

"I disagree. Look what he did to me!" I said pointing to my right eye.

Of course Yuki being Yuki laughed and said I needed to learn to fight. Edwin telling Drey that his actions were not nice, even if he was trying to help me and that violence is never the answer.

Rose was sweet and felt around my face to make sure I didn't break off a piece of bone. I was in the clear. And Blue just smiled at us bickering back and forth on who's fault it was.

"So did it work?" Yuki asked

"Does it look like it worked" I said straightforward while he just looked at my eye and nodded to himself knowing it was a stupid question

Drey and Travis explained the conversation we just had. Of course Dreys loud mouth telling everyone we almost kissed. Won't hear the end of it from Yuki now.

"Hey Blue?"

"Yes"

I scooted closer to him resting my head in my hand. Playing around with the food on my plate "can you teach me how to fight?"

"Why do you want to learn that?" He said dusting some sand off my forehead. I shrugged not really knowing why. If I have powers it would be cool to learn to fight.

"I'll teach you under one condition"

I sighed "what?"

"No more pulling pranks on Fred"

"But-"

"No buts!"
