Chan POV

It's been three days now and Dawn still hasn't woken up yet. After I picked her up she had passed out. Blood gushing out of her nose and the corners of her eyes. We wasn't no time getting back to camp.

It's like we all forgot what we had saw back in that building. We were all more worried about her.

The next day, Ivy was in bed with Travis not feeling the best and began to have a nose bleed also. Travis knowing what happened to Dawn, he took her to the medical tent to get check up on.

Right as she was about to leave, blood began to poor from her eyes also. She then black out and had been out ever since.

Rose has been keeping a close eye on them two. Their heart rates have been on and off. They've been having fevers and more nose bleeds.

No one knows what the cause is from. No one else on the island has been experiencing any symptoms either. I remember she was fine the day of the cave, but when we left she said she had chills.

Other than that, she seemed fine. Even that night we hung out, she had no symptoms. It was the morning it seemed to have hit her.

I was a little angry with Rose for making her get up. Travis was also disappointed in her. He said he talked to her and she had felt bad. Not knowing it would turn out like this.

"Here's the last out of the office" Ivan said placing the plastic bin on top of the other

I ignored him and continued filling mine up with files. Blue asked Ivan, Zero, Yuki and I to come back to the asylum and get all the files so we could look back at them.

He thought that could give him answers as to why no one was on the island and more about the lurker. Maybe even if it caused something to do with the girls.

I didn't want to be here right now. I wanted to be with Dawn. I had been staying with her hoping she would be waking up soon.

Knowing Blue needed my help, I said yes. I also hoped it went get my mind off things. But it hasn't.

"You almost done here?"

I nodded towards Ivan and continued placing the files into the bin. I was on the top of the cabinet.

Blue, Zero and Yuki were on the other side where we first were gathering the files. Since there were more offices that way.

I was stuck with Ivan, who was in a bad mood, on the completely other side.

"Look man, I'm sorry for the way I've been treating you lately. I know you care for Dawn. I'm just looking out for her" Ivan spoke up

I looked up at him, closing the lid on the bin "you have nothing to worry about" I bluntly said

"Oh I know" he laughed, leaning against the counter "she's just a good kid"

"Have you told her?"

"Told her what?"

I thought for a moment if I should even say it. She was literally on her death bed, is what it felt like, "that she's your daughter"

He looked taken back for a moment. Raising his eyebrows, he laughed to himself "I should have known you already knew that. You being a hacker and all"

I shrugged "wasn't hard to find out"

"What did you do? Look up hospital records or something?"

I looked back at him. He nodded his head smiling, knowing the answer to that. I couldn't tell if he was made or not.

"It says the baby died. You said it never did" I replied back. Remembering our conversation from when I first got here

"It's a long story kid"

"I got time"

He chuckled to himself. I jumped up on the counter of the desk, at a slight angle to hear him out. He leaned on the counter ready to talk.

"Me and Anastasia had a beautiful baby girl named Remeii. It was Anastasia dream to be a mother" he said slightly sad "we were good friends with June and Boston, who also happen to know Christopher"

I could tell whatever he was going to say was going to be hard. It was probably years he had ever brought it up.

"We all fought with Christopher and Christopher was the type to be petty and do something behind your back. One day, Anastasia and I went on a date for the first time in months of her being pregnant and after the birth. Come to find out, Christopher broke into our home and took our baby"

"Was she all alone?" I asked

"Oh no. Of course not, our neighbor was watching her for us. Only for a couple of hours" he explained "Christopher killed our neighbor and took our baby girl somewhere we couldn't find her. That's when we asked Boston for his help, to find her"

I guess that's how he had her information. Maybe he kept track of her growing up. Along with her friends, Travis and Drey.

"We found her a few weeks later, but he wouldn't stop tell he got her back for some reason. That's why we gave her up. We didn't want to know where she was going, or who she was going with. Only that it was somewhere good" he finished

"You know that Boston had files on her? Along with Travis and Drey? Hell, he even had files on everyone on the island apparently" I said

Ivan shook his head, "No. No I didn't know that. Did she find them?"

"Yeah"

For a moment he looked scared. He knew Dawn was his daughter and Dawn knew Ivan was her father.

"Maybe Boston kept an eye on her for you" I suggested

"Maybe. If so that was dangerous of him to do that considering Christopher could have found them at any moment" he said a little too angry

"You think Christopher wanted her to get back at you and Anastasia, or was there something else?"

He shrugged, "when we got her back, there were needles marks all in her arms and legs" he explained

"He couldn't have drugged her. She's was a baby, right?" I asked

"We got her back at eight months old" he said

I hoped off the counter, "maybe he was experimenting on her"

"Kid, come on now" Ivan said backing up

"No really. You just saw everything that went on in this place, he could be doing the same thing. Maybe that's how she randomly started to glitch. He did something to her when she was a baby and he wants to continue to do it" I said tying everything together

"You got a point" Ivan said pointing at me, "kid your a genius. You guys also mentioned when Drey meet that Felix kid, that he said one of the streets name was-"

"Sokolov!" I said a little to excitingly

"Exactly, he could possibly be someone who has worked here or followed in his families foot steps" Ivan said

"He could have named a street after her. Do you know where Boston found Dawn?" I asked

"All he said was somewhere out in Hawaii"

"Wait," I said "Hawaii is an island"

"Holy shit" Ivan said In realization "and we're on a fucking island!"

"That's how he found this place! He probably came to realize he was tricked into thinking it was a different island. That's why he came back here years later" I said

"What's got you two so raddled up?" Blue asked walking in with Zero and Yuki

Looking over at Ivan, we both smiled "you won't believe what we just figured out"
