"The wheel wasn't that far so I just hopped over the fence and went to grab it"

Yuki woke up maybe and hour or two later. Eleven stitches total in his head. He claimed when he went to get the wheel he heard a noise and when he turned around the monster had hit him so hard it knocked him out and must have swung him across.

"Still, it was stupid of you not to let Dawn know" Blue scolded the boy who was still in bed being checked up on.

"I know and I'm sorry"

It was hard to stay mad at Yuki. Even in this type of state. He looked so sad, I've never seen him sad. He was always happy and chirpy.

"You should have gotten one of us. You're lucky Chan was there" Blue state towards me

Come to find out Chan had used his telekinesis and threw the monster across the way. I hate my eyes were closed cause that would have been pretty cool to see.

"I know, I'm sorry"

Blue sighed "neither one of you should be sorry. I'm just glade you're both okay. Thank you Chan, I mean it"

Chan just nodded his head towards Blue giving him a slight smilie. Travis had already thanked Chan a thousand times for being there. I could already see a friendship growing between the two.

"Yuki you can go but I want you to stay in bed for a few of days, maybe even a week. You hit your head pretty hard. I'll get Zero to get you whatever you need" Rose explained to the boy and as on que, Z walked in concerned about his friend

Rose and Travis were telling him what happened while Blue pulled me and Chan to the side. We walked outside waiting for our next orders.

"Let's call it a day. Chan will go back with you so you can clean up just in case. After that do whatever, just stay out of trouble"

I nodded my head at Blues orders. Chan grabbed my hand and we walked back in silence.

"So you're telling me they put the tomato's with the vegetables? It's clearly a fruit"

"Thank you! Finally someone who understands!"

After Chan had helped me clean and put the tools away we decided to head back to the camp and hang by the beach for a little.

He wanted to show me his tent since I have yet to seen it. Unfortunately for me, it was pass the garden where Drey was working with Edwin.

Drey being Drey, brought up the tomato situation again. Edwin finally learned to ignore Dreys cry's for where every food should be planted.

On the other hand, Drey saw Chan as fresh meat and told him about the 'horrific situation'. To my surprise, Chan agreed with Drey that the tomato should definitely be moved.

Now they both are in deep conversations about tomatoes. I'm not sure if Chan is just being nice or if he's being serious. Either way it's taken up my time from the beach.

"Tomato's are like the earth. Without tomato's-"

"Okay" I said interrupting the two "me and Chan have somewhere to be. Chan" I grab his arm trying to drag him away but was stopped by a curious Edwin.

"Aren't you supposed to be working?" Edwin asked fishing his bun. I just now remembered I forgot they didn't even know what happened to Yuki.

"Oh about that. Yuki passed the fence and got bitch slapped by the lurker. Don't worry he's fine, just eleven stitches" I explained

"Eleven stitches!"

"Dawn! Don't worry? That's my friend, why the hell did he pass the fence? Is he okay? Where is-"

I held my hand in-front of Edwin to stop him from rambling on "he's okay, I promise. He went over the fence to grab a wheel and the Lurker snuck up on him. Chan here got there in enough time to help him. He's already on his way to his tent, Roses orders"

Edwin let out a long breath. Drey rubbing his back telling him Yuki would be okay and they could take a break to go see him. They were too cute together.

"I didn't mean to break it to you this way"

"I'm just glade he's okay" Edwin said putting down his shovel "I appreciate it man"

"Yeah of course" Chan said watching the two walk away towards Yukis tent. I looked up to Chan who was already looking at me.

"What?" I said to the smiling boy

"Nothing" he laughed starting to walk "you should have just let me explain it"

Come to find out, Chans tent was not far from me at all. Only a couple rows down and was across from Zeros tent.

He's tent was about the same size as mine, maybe a little bit bigger. A bed in the middle, desk off to the side like mine along with a table. Dresser on the other side and a mirror.

He didn't have any cool chairs like me so I told him I'd help him find some big bags and swings around here. Plus his room was plane, he liked it that way but I told him he needed a little something.

We planned in a few days I'd help him decorate his tent along with his porch. His porch already had two rocking chairs and a 'L' shaped couch, but he needed some pillows to go with them. I was kinda jealous of the couch.

Anyways, we decided to meet up at the entrance of the campsite and beach when we finished getting ready. I had to take a shower to get the dirt and grease off me. I quickly changed into a two piece dark green bathing suit.

I have been loving the color green lately. Plus, it looks good with my tan. I put on some cotton shorts and my converse. Quickly combing threw my hair, I grabbed my towel and headed out hoping he was waiting long or wasn't there yet.

Passing by a few tents and saying hello to a few people here and there, I notice Anastasia. I debated on to say hello or not since Chan could be waiting, but I decided I could make it quick.

"Anastasia" I called out running to her. Once I got to her I gave her a quick hug, her giving me one back.

"Hi love! Whatcha doing?"

"Oh, me and Chan are headed to the beach"

"Oh Chan?" She wiggled her eyebrows

Blue and Rose had talked to Chan over the radio, knowing he was coming. Apparently so did Ivan and Anastasia. I'm not sure if it was because they were making sure he was a decent person to bring here, or for another reason.

Everyone seemed to love him though. Plus, he was well known on the island. He fit right in.

"Oh please" I waved her off "he's cute and all but I just meet the guy"

She laughed at me being a bit embarrassed "well don't keep the boy waiting, you two have fun. I'll see you at dinner"

We said our goodbyes and started to go out separate ways. Before I could get too far I was stopped again, Anastasia being curious why I wasn't working "oh! Yuki got bitch slapped by the Lurker and got eleven stitches. Bye!"

With that I ran off ignoring my name being called by Anastasia. Even though it was a serious accident, it was in the pass now and I was definitely going to make fun of him. He makes fun of me so it's only fair if I make fun of him.

Out of breath, I slowed down seeing Chan sitting on one of the chairs under the lights at the entrance. Walking up to him I was going to scare him but he notice me unfortunately. I'll get him later.

"Sorry, hope you weren't here long"

"Oh no worries. Just got here actually"

He was clearly lying but I didn't say anything. I just smiled and we left to go to the beach.
