It was now the next day. We decided to stay over at Dreys house and tell them all kinds of stories while they told us everything that has happened while we were gone.

Travis and his mother got along just fine and spent the whole day together. Even thought she was still shaken up by the fact her son was a, mutant? She didn't care either way and loves him no matter what.

Mr. and Mrs. Whitlock had told us after a couple days of us being gone, our three families got together and went to the police. The police then proceeded to say they couldn't do nothing at the moment since 'kids run away all the time'.

They had to wait basically a whole month before the police filed a full report and reported us missing all over the news. While waiting, everyone had put up posters around the town of us.

The Whitlocks said the police would come by every month asking if they have seen or heard from us. Since the answer was always no and it had been so long, they closed the investigation because they had no lead as to where we went.

They checked Dreys room and found his board filled with the 'superhero's' whereabouts. Unfortunately, when they searched the town everything was cleaned. Meaning the shut down circus, had no clues that we were ever there.

I straightened out my bangs and placed my hands in my hoodie, well Chans hoodie. It was cold here and I was honestly missing the warm weather.

I didn't live to far from Dreys so o decided to walk to my house this morning. Drey offered to go with me, and so did Travis over the phone. I told the two no, mostly because I was embarrassed of how my mother would react.

Their family were so happy to see them, I was worried my mom wouldn't be. I had little hope since Mrs.Whitlock told me she was worried and was out searching for me when they held a search party, for anyone who wanted to join.

Walking up to our fence I notice our grass was cut, which it never was. I notice a couple of cars in the driveway I have never seen before, debating on if I should knock on the door or not.

I threw my hood up and hid my hair in the hoodie. Walking up the sidewalk, that you could now see, I walked up to the door to try to listen in. Hearing a few voices I decided not to knock, to be on the safe side.

I watched my surroundings to make sure no one could see me, and I concentrated really hard, walking through the door I was now in the hallway.

Still hearing the voices I could tell they were coming from the kitchen. The house looked different, it was a lot cleaner. The walls were painted, and shoes were at the front door. I quietly unlocked the front door.

Walking further in, I peaked my head to the side not seeing anyone in the living room. All new furniture, no beer cans laying around but replaced with boxes. The kitchen door was attached to the living room so I walked in and slowly opened the swinging door.

Peaking in I saw a family sitting down at a round table. Looked to be a mother, a father, and a couple of kids. The oldest kid noticing me, pointed to me with his mouth full "intruder!"

"Wait! No!"

I walked in fully with my hands in front of me. The father, who was huge, got up knocking his chair down standing in front of his family. Dude, I swear he had to be like eight feet tall. Yuki would piss his pants right now.

"I-I'm sorry for barging in, I knocked and no one was coming to the door. It was unlocked" I lied

The mother grabbed her three children who were not too old. One hiding behind her back, the other in her arms, and the boy who snitched on me just watching me. I hate kids.

"That still gives you no right to come into someone's house young lady!" The man said to me if I were is own child

"I-I know and I-I'm sorry. I thought Shannon and Mark live here?" I questioned

I know my own house. I surly didn't walking into the wrong one. We were the house at the top of the neighborhood, by the road.

"Ma'am Shannon sold this house to us back in September" the women said softly to me

"S-She sold the house?"

She sold the house? Where is all my stuff? Where is she? Why did she leave? Is she still in town? What the fuck!

"Sweetheart are you okay? Do we need to call someone for you?" The woman asked softly, now walking up to her husband

I forcefully wiped the tears off my face. Holding my head trying to do my breathing exercises so I wouldn't start glitching in front of this random family.

"Um no. D-Do you know where she is?"

"No. I'm sorry honey"

"It's okay" I cried turning around and walking out.

Shutting the door behind me I walked off the property and broke down. My own mother who raised me, lost her child and moved away? Did she just give up so easily?

I was honestly embarrassed to even go back to Dreys or Travis. I know their family was good to me but, they were already so happy I didn't want to ruin their moment.

The ship was at a dock hours away from here. I had no way of calling Blue or Rose since they only had radio at the island. I honestly didn't know what to do but to cry.

I decided to go to a park that wasn't far from me. I would spend a couple of hours there, act like I had spend time with my mom and then go back to Dreys. Easy.

Questions flooded through my headed as I sat down on a swing. Luckily I was the only person here and I hope it will stay that way.

Maybe Chan can find where she went. I was to scared to ask Dreys parents. They would have to know right? Since they all searched for us right? I mean even before we left, they never got together with my mom once she became an alcoholic.

I sighed as I waited for the hours to pass.
