Lost In The Jungle

Finally making it to the cave after about a thirty minute drive. We all got our bags full of things we would need.

Edwin said inside was very humid and toasty so it would be a good idea to leave our jackets here. I took off the hoodie and replaced it with the backpack Chan had filled up.

This time it was heavier due to us going inside an actual cave. Not wanting to leave my hoodie here, I threaded it through the straps of the bag. So now it was against my back and dangling just a little.

"Come here"

Walking over to Chan, he grabbed some rope and hooked it onto the outside of my bag. He then proceeded to hook some bright yellow electrical tap to the from strap of my bag.

"What's the tape for?" I asked

"To find your way out in case you get lost. Everyone has a different color so you can know who's who" he explained showing me his pink tape

I laughed a little to myself, "you hate pink"

"It was the only one left. Wanna trade?"

"No"

"That's what I thought" he smiled

"Okay listen up everyone" Ivan started, "everyone stays together in the beginning. If we split up, we split into groups of two. The tape helps find the way out, every few feet you walk, put tape around something clear for everyone to see. Everyone has a different color in case we need to look for someone"

Ivan nodded towards Blue for him to say his part, "with the help of Z and Chan, we now have better radios. They are much larger and we only have a few. Meaning, if we do happen to split up stay in pairs of at least three. We only have four radios. I will have one, Ivan, Z and Rose will also have one. Also, this is a cave so do not go touching the surface incase it collapses on us. I'm mainly speaking to Drey"

Drey threw his hands up and rolled his eyes. Laughing a little at his childish reaction. He looked funny wear shirt sleeves with gloves on.

"We believe there are stores down here. If there happen to be, if you find anything valuable worth bringing back then gather it at the entrance of the store. We can always come back as many times as we want and get whatever" Rose finish

"Alright that's about it" Blue clapped, thinking for a moment "oh! And also the rope is just in case you run out of tape. Tie it to something and walk along with it. Rope comes in handy in another ways, that's why you have a lot"

With that being said we were about to go in. Rose telling Blue what the signs said and where it pointed to the mining area. The part we didn't want to go.

"Um, excuse me?" Ivy asked

"Yes"

"What is the Lurker comes back?"

We all looked over to the four standing at the entrance. Even though we argued with them that they always called us kids, they were still the adults and clearly made the decision here.

"Call on the radio if you feel the need sweetie" Anastasia said nicely, "just remember to stay as quiet as possible and whisper. It's all of us against one, so don't worry too much"

Ivy nodded her head and thanked her. Anastasia always knew what to say. She always had a nice voice also. Helped calm everyone down.

I think the only person I'd worry about would be Rose. She was the only one with no ability. Even thought Travis didn't have a crazy one, he could still heal. Drey could always touch something and go away and come back and few seconds later.
