Everyone was now gathered in the medical tent. Having the strength to do so, I sat up criss cross. Chan sat in the chair beside me while Drey and Edwin sat in the next bed over.

Ivy sat propped up against a few pillows with Travis by her side. Rose sat on top of the desk in front of the two beds and Blue was beside her. Everyone else was scattered on other beds and chairs, but making sure to stay in a close proximity.

"So you guys found out?" I asked

Ivan and Anastasia nodded. Anastasia looked almost as if she wanted to cry. I was just told while the boys were out getting files at the asylum, Chan and Ivan had a talk.

No I was not made at Chan for speaking out for me. I saw his worried look on how I would feel about that. I knew he was worried about me. He wanted peace between everyone.

"Yes, and I hate that you knew all along and we never said anything to you" Ivan spoke softly

I shrugged, "it's okay. I didn't really know how to bring it up anyway"

It wasn't awkward. It was more of a sadder atmosphere. Anastasia was clearly upset, and Ivan hated that he kept it a secret from me.

"We did it to protect you. From Christopher"

I looked over at Chan, confused. I knew they had known Christopher but, I was never around for him to know me. Right?

"Christopher?" Ivy asked, also confused "what does he have to do with anything?"

I looked down feeling Chan hold my hand. I moved his hand into my lap and started to play with his fingers. Something I usually did when I was nervous or bored.

"When you were born you were taken from us" Anastasia started, almost like she was going to burst into tears "Christopher took you away and we couldn't find you for weeks. With the help of Boston, he found you safe"

Ivan held her hand and started to rub her back as tears fell silently, "Boston helped us find a place to give you up. Somewhere Christopher couldn't find you and somewhere we couldn't. It was the hardest decision of our life Dawn. We never wanted this to happen to you" Ivan continued for her

"You got your powers because Christopher experiment on you as a kid" Drey said cause if everyone to look at him, "what? You guys are making this all sad and drawn out. She'll connect the dots"

Blue walked over to Drey and smacked him over the head. Causing an 'ow' and 'what was that for'. Blue sat down beside Drey and motioned for the two to continue.

"He had something to do with the island, didn't he?" I asked

"He has too. There was a street with y'all's last name and back at the asylum they experiment on people" Ivy added

"Maybe that's how the boss found this place. Through Christopher" I said

Everyone started to look at one another again. Some having smiles on their faces and others with thin lips. Basically the face saying I got it right.

"Well I think this meeting is over" Yuki said standing up, "they figured it out"

"Sit down" Blue said sternly making Yuki sit

"You two are correct" Ivan said, "Chan and figured it out together. Chan going through all the files also figured out why you guys have been experiencing symptoms lately"

I looked at Chan who just sat there. No look on his face saying he figured it out. No showing off like Drey or Travis would.

He just listened to what everyone said. I still found it hot how smart he was. He was hot and good looking. Something you can't seem to find now a days.

"Going through days worth of files help us know what kind of experiment they were doing on people" Rose jumped in, "they were trying to find a way to make the human race eternal. They wanted the ability, like everyone here on the island, to do things no one could ever think of doing"

"Come to find out, Christopher's family had lived on this island for years. Following in their footsteps, he grew up learning how to do procedures on people" Chan spoke up, "that's why he took you. To get back at Ivan and Anastasia"

"Turns out, whatever he did worked" Blue added

"Taking your blood samples while you were out" Travis spoke, "it matched with some files they had on this vaccine as they liked to call it since they used it on everyone. Your blood cells being the only one to match up exactly with the cells in this serum"

"Basically what they're trying to say is, what you have in your blood stream is one of a kind" Chan said spoke softly, "your the only person to pass every test. It never made you sick, you didn't die from it, you gained the ability to tear your body cells apart and stitch them back together like it's nothing"

Ivy raised her hand, "um question? What about me then? I mean, I was born with powers. So was knots everyone on this island"

She had a point. This was all too much to take in. I was experimented on? This would be a good book.

"Good question babe" Travis said earning a kiss from Ivy, "Dawn is the first person to gain powers by being experimented on. She has a rare serum in her body that doesn't exist anywhere else"

"That's why Christopher wants her so bad. And to answer your question Ivy, drum roll please" Drey said waiting for a drum roll that never happened, "you all suck. Anyways, one test did go bad. Guess who it was?"

"Oh I know! Felix!" I said a little to happily

"Oh I could kiss you right here, right now" Drey said

Ivy cleared her throat, "I'm on the edge of my seat over here"

Before Drey could say anymore, Blue spoke up "Felix was one to be tested on. The same test done on Dawn. Different from everyone else, his body fought it like as if he was sick and he-"

"He turned into the Lurker!" I said quick to beat him to it. Turning to Drey to give him a high five. Wincing a little in pain at the sudden stinging.

"Yes" Blue said rolling his eyes at our childishness, "he is the Lurker. Since he became that, he started to transition over time. The cells killing his brain, he started to kill people off the island. Him being unkillable, some of the scientists declared to bomb the island with the people on it"

"That bomb sent out a radioactive substance. Traveling everywhere, it affected everyone" Rose finished "that's why some were born with powers. That's why this place is so unique"

"This place has been known since the late twenties. The bomb was set off in eighty eighty" Ivan said

"What about Drey? He just got his powers out of nowhere, was it because of the radiation?" I asked

"Yep" Travis said, "he wasn't born with it. Since he has been here so long, I guess he's taken in so much that it started to affect him"

That was a lot to take in. Everyone now knew who my parents were and that I was the first person to be experimented on and succeed.

Felix was a test subject and the only one to fight back and turn into the lurker. Making people so afraid, they sent off a bomb with everyone here.

Drey was just chillin until the radiation got him. Same for people who were born basically.

This was fucking awesome!
