Dawn POV

"Chan made me us my powers"

"Seriously dude"

"Lower your voices" Ivy whispered to the two

Both looking over at us, "the Lurker is around here. We've been looking for you two and our walkie-talkies aren't working" I explained

Chan instantly walking over to me, he threw an arm over me in a protective way. Looking over at the other two, I felt my face heat up.

"When did you guys see it?" Chan asked

"Maybe ten minutes ago. It wasn't to long ago" Ivy answered

Drey took out his walkie-talkie and tried talking into it, but no luck. Chan doing the same afterwards but ended up with nothing.

At least the four of us were together. Telling Chan and Drey the same thing I told Ivy about staying quiet and walking. They both agreed that was a good idea.

Since Blue and Yuki were in the other building, Chan decided to take the bridge over instead of going outside.

Getting to the entrance of the bridge it was chained up just like the front door. Ivy did the same thing and turn it into rose pedals. Letting them fall to the floors with no sound.

The bridge looked like it could collapse at any moment. The floor was covered in mold and grass. The windows on the sides were broken and the roof had collapsed some.

"Okay um, one at a time" Chan said

"I'll go first. Im bigger so I'll make sure it'll actually stay intact" Drey said

Drey slowly started walking on the bridge, one step at a time. Since it had been raining the floor underneath him was mushy.

Halfway down the bridge we all froze, turning our heads to the left where we entered was the Lurker. There it was, standing straight up.

It's head tilting to the side like it was reading off the vibrations around it. It's long, sounder fingers rubbed one another like it was feeling whatever was on its hands.

It's whole body started twitching. Still it made no sound. Drey looked over his shoulder and Chan nodded for him to continue.

Very slowly, Drey took his time and made it to the other side. He stood at the end waiting for the next person, but keeping an eye out on the Lurker.

I nudged Ivy to go next. Seeing she was already freaking out. If the Lurker started to move near here I wasn't sure how she would react.

Just like Drey, she slowly and steadily took her time. Not looking at the Lurker even once, she kept her eyes on Drey who held a smile to let her know everything was going to be fine.

I looked down seeing Chan held my hand. I knew he wanted me to go next, and honestly I felt like we both could go together.

Seeing Ivy at the end, I started to walk and nodded Chan to come with me. He lightly pushed me to go myself. Before I could give him my puppy eyes, he pulled me back into him.

Turning my head the Lurker was now at the broken window. All we could see was it's chest and up. Drey held Ivy in his hands and we all stayed still as possible.

Again, it's head began to tilt from one side to another. Closer up, it's skin was wet and very wrinkly. It had many cuts and scratches along its body.

It brought its arm up and slamming in into the bridge. While doing so, Chan quickly moved us over to the other side while the noise of the bridge beginning to break made.
