Lost In The Jungle

We all parted ways now leaving me, Drey and Travis. We decided on exploring the island a bit more since we haven't seen much.

Yes we were still scared of the monster but knew we would be fine if we stayed on the other side of the fence. Of course we got more rules set by Blue and bag full of supplies Rose set up for us.

Drey decided on being the leader making Travis carry the bag and leaving me looking out for the lurkers.

"Halt" Drey yelled cause me and Travis to run into his back

"Give us a warning man" Travis said

"Uh, I did. I said halt" Drey defended

"Yeah but you stopped first then said it" I argued rubbing my nose

He turned to us sucking on his finger and putting it up in the air. Travis tried speaking only to get shushed by Drey "this way" he said continuing on the exact path we were on. What we the purpose in that?

After a while on the path of only finding a few animals and a nice scenery, we decided to take a quick snack break.

We sat down on a few rocks and silently chewed on some fruit Z boxed up for us. Of course Travis complained when he handed me a box but then shit up when he got one too.

"Do you remember how to get out?" I asked Drey

"Of course. Hand me the map?"

I threw the lid on my fruit saving some for another break. I grabbed the bag fishing threw it to find a map. I grabbed out a map and a flash light with buttons all on it.

"Here" I said handing him the map

As he was examining it I looked at the light to see if it worked or not incase we do get lost in the jungle and it becomes night. I couldn't see do to it being light out so I began to walk over to a tree with a hole.

As I was walking I suddenly felt the ground messing and fell. When I mean fell, I mean fell like twenty feet. I suddenly hit the ground on my right side causing a shooting pain to go up my arm.

"Dawn!" I heard both Drey and Travis yell

"Ow" I sat sitting up looking at the scratches on my arm and legs

I looked up to see both staring down at me. Now noting I fell into a deep hole that was super dark. Only light source was from above.

"Guys" I cried out

"It's okay, it's okay"

"We'll get you out of there" they said trying to calm me down

"It's super dark down here" I said with an echo

Looking up I noticed them both panicking going threw the bag. Tripping here and there. I looked around me and grabbed the flash light to turn on. I got lucky when it did. I started to look around noticing in was in a tunnel or cave.

Rocks and dirt everywhere. Spiders crawling on the ceiling. I then heard a noise behind me. Spinning around quickly I didn't see anything. I shinned the light everywhere but saw nothing.

"I hear something" I cried out

"We don't have any rope to pull you up" Travis called out

"I'll have to go someone" Drey said

"No" I said in a panic "don't leave me please. You guys promise to never leave me"

"Dawn I promise everything will be okay. I pinky promise" Travis said trying to calm me down

Travis didn't know if they were going to be about to get Dawn out. All he was doing was trying to calm her down knowing she panics and her breathing gets hard. Travis was worried for her but he made himself a promise to make sure she would be safe. Even if it cause him to get hurt.
