When you see her,
Do tell her
That her smile washes away pain
Like waves of rolling breeze
From the shades of plantain plantations
On hot sunny days.

Tell her that her smile reminds me
Of undisturbed beaches on Sunday mornings,
Of the sound of waves sweeping over sands
And waters splashing over rocks
And the noise of seagulls
Echoing through the quiet.

Tell her that she reminds me
Of the sweet nectar of the Ixora
That drew us as kids
To our neighbour's garden,
Time and time again.

When you see her,
Call her Chi
For she is God.
Call her Chidinma
For she is Good.

PS:

When you see her,
Tell her I'll gladly die a thousand deaths over
For using her picture publicly 😂🤣😂🤣
And when I finally die
My spirit will still lay hold on just one more picture
As a companion into the Light.

When I see her,
I'll call her
Âme Sœur.
❤️

PPS:

And when 'you' see this,
Just smile
And keep living.
💚🌻
