A world within the world. Closed off. Sectionalized. Separated. Hidden in daylight. A world of real people. The cocktail of hopeful hopelessness and a love-hate relationship with freedom is one that's constantly being served.

I can describe this world all I want, the reality remains that this night, I'll be in my bed, under a blanket to keep me warm, and the world, this world ("that" world in actual honesty) will keep breathing.

The words that play in my head are these;
"It could have been me. Me. In those shoes. (That's if there's still a remnant of tattered leather on those soles)."

But are they not me? Am I not them? Are we not one? Am I any different? Ketu-Lagos marked me for good. I've never been the same man. It feels like I peer into a mirror whenever I see the faces. Those faces. Our faces. My face(s).

There's a world within the world, and its realities and truths deserve to be heard.
