Walking out in the
streets, watching people pass by,
the smell smacks my face.
It is like a false
blossom in tainted water
pure, but misleading.
Men think it but, it
is not that of a sweet rose,
oh pity on them.
It is ok, though
I confess it cannot lure
me in like fresh fish.
Attractive, I think
they must find it, but truly
I dislike the scent.
How they stand to wear
it, unaware of the smell,
I will never know.
So on valentines
day, please don't my sinuses
can't handle it well.
