In the Pokemon games X and Y from 2013 there is a town called Anistar, and within this town lives an old man with which you may select and leave one of your pokemon with him as he states since his wife passed away he had been rather lonely. if you go to check on him and your pokemon after beating the pokemon league you will find a pokeball containing your pokemon along with an attached note and item as the man had no strength left to keep fighting the battle of life and passed away caring for your pokemon that allowed him to feel loved and cared for. This is my hands on experience and retelling of my choice to help out a soul within a game no matter if people will just tell me that it is just a sprite and Ai composed of data within a childs game. I never did sell the Comet Shard......it means to much to me to just pass it off for 10,000 in game dollars......
I left you my Pokemon,
To make you happy,
To cheer you up,
I beat the game
And I went searching for you,
I came to Anistar,
Joyfully awaiting the moment
To receive her from you with
A smile,
But you were no where to be seen
Or found,
There was only a Pokeball and
Attached to it a note,
I proceeded to think you had gone
On vacation to another region,
but i was wrong and so i read:
Dear Alice,
Thanks to the kindness you and your Weedle Arsonette showed me, I was able to keep smiling until the very end. I apologize that I can't look after Arsonette anymore, but I know you'll take care of it. Finally, please take this Comet Shard as a token of my thanks.
And like that my heart did 1 million
Things all at once,
It melted,
It solidified and hardened,
And later bulldozed to pieces
And those pieces were wrenched
From the sorrowful hole from
Which it used to be
And blown away on a gust of fairy wind
Creating a dazzling gleam under the
Moon shine and starlit sky
And i wept like never before
Over something fictional.
Because of my kindness
This is what i was met with
And it's left a permanent impression
on me,
What heart brake is in store
For the generations i have yet to see
I'll never know without being there,
So to a fictional character i say:
Thank you Old Man,
For giving people world wide a reason
To cherish what they have before
It
Is
Gone.
