Because I tend to come out at night to admire things every once in a while to get away.
Moonlight shone bright
Moon dazzling in the night
Won't you stay to shine tonight
Of which of all of your phases
All are fascinatingly beautiful
Painting vividly on the sky
As if it were a canvas
Upon which it meticulously
Hangs fray in the night sky,
I do give my regards to
All the stars that watch
Closely as they gleam
Dancing till dawn as
The morn' tears away
At the nights seams
Into new grace to be beheld
Of bright yellows and oranges
And yellow greens
Sing oh night sky of your
Sweet melodious melody
Of your vast abyss of dark and
Venetian blues that I do and did
Have captured and perceived by
Mine eyes that did detail the
Desire at such beauty to weep
At such my lips did move and
From them I spake of the moon
On her cosmic pedestal on high
Shining, gleaming, lighting the night
Oh of the night sky I do live hereunder
By day brake it does sunder
And the draft of fond memories of
The nights alluring embrace did
Reach into recognition
And display to me dusk's Venetian blue
Canvas where the stars dance and
The moon paints sapphire-amethyst clouds
Once more.
