The turning point towards part two. This one might be self explanatory, but I wear bracelets and rings as limiters and reminders of things I can, can't, should, and shouldn't do. sometimes I give them away in hopes of gaining more control over the items symbolism. Enjoy.
restraints upon my wrists
show me where you lead
bound by the heart
threads upon my neck
strewn on them, emblems,
crystals, and beads
show me where you lead,
in the dark
in the night
in the day
in the light
guide me to my virtues
show me all that I may do
love never ends,
like pearls, jewels,
and ringing bells,
memory never fades
by the days that upon
these wrists are written:
1 for every wrong
1 for every right
the things that I can do
and can be done.
Break away from these
chains that restrain
the inner being
that is me or
rather could be,
make it true, make it real
to move these seals not from
within but from outside
as they deteriorate and
are repaired
or at least that's how
it used to be,
now I add on
to keep them around
to give and show
to those I know
hoping to give them
away.
