hoseok had dragged taehyung to the cafe down the road and after ordering their drinks, the questions started.

"you called him an annoying little bitch?"

"how'd you know" taehyung said sarcastically and looked at his best friend.

"cut the attitude" hoseok warned and taehyung dropped his head.

"i did. i felt and still feel so guilty, it's eating me out"

"why didn't you apologize?"

"i don't know"

"taehyung"

"i just didn't find the right time, i guess"

"there's no right time to apologize!"

"okay then i wont apologize at all"

"kim taehyung!" hoseok said sternly and taehyung dropped his head again.

"i want to apologize, hobi...but it's scary"

"i know"

"what if he reacts badly? what if he doesn't forgive me? what if-"

"that's enough. jeongguk is a sweetheart. he wouldn't say anything and he will accept your apology if its sincere."

taehyung fiddled with his fingers a little bit before looking at hoseok.

"you think so?"

"i know so"

"okay" he looked back down at his feet and bit his lip.

"come on, drink your smoothie and let's go back home"

taehyung nodded and took a sip from his smoothie.
